Great, peacefull location . Lot of outdoor options if visiting in summer. Nice SPA, especially for families with young kids. Very convenient to look after them in children pool. Large swimming pool for more sporty swimming. New hotel room, very clean.

We were pretty much super happy with our stay. We arrived unplanned a hour earlier, but it was no problem to check-in. Our room was extremely spacious and clean. Huge comfy bed and lots of space to feel at home. The bathroom was spacious and functional. Maybe the shower cabin could have been a bit taller. It was also perfectly clean. The hotel provided bathrobes and slippers. The bed was very comfy and guaranteed a good night sleep, unless there is a particular strong storm outside (in Norway called Hans). There was lots of wind blowing and one needed to keep the windows open as the room was extremely overheated and there is no A/C. But that is hardly the hotels fault. For the second night, we had no problem to get a really good night sleep. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of food options, and in general of really high quality. The fried bacon, liver pate and bread were excellent. They didn't make the impression of being bought in a super market but rather sourced locally or produced on site in the restaurant kitchen. Coffee was freshly made using an espresso machine. This was one of the best breakfast we enjoyed outside of Scandinavia. We also had dinner at the restaurant, and were not disappointed. The quality was excellent. We really enjoyed it. Finally the staff was super friendly and helpful. They took good care of us. We will definitely stay at Metsis again.

Responsive and friendly hotel receptionist. Good sauna on the 7th floor with terrace and charming landscape view. The hotel located in a beautiful an quite place. Excellent restaurant on the 1th floor - delicious, prices matches the quality. If we travel to Otepaa again, we will gladly return to this hotel.

Parking right in front of the door. Quiet surroundings. Large clean room. No breakfast but coffee/tea available and fridge in the room for your own snacks. Very friendly host.

It is a real castle with fireplaces, underground path, sauna, large plot of land and a lake. You can feel the magic in the air. The team is very friendly and caring, they offered us very personal treatment and we felt truly welcomed there. The restaurant offers great breakfast and dinner and has a good selection of wines and other drinks. It is close to all Otepä attractions. They speak several languages (at least Estonian, English and Russian). Highly recommended for any occasion !
