Beach is good but full of jelly fishes.

Beach is good but full of jelly fishes. My kids got hurt while in water. Beach is not clean. They call it Sidi Kir beach. Charge is 50EGP for umbrella and 10EGP for each chair. Entrance is free. Neighbourhood has no restaurants and almost nothing. It’s very far from the city. There is a Carrefour nearby in Orouba mall. You can go there by taxi

A beautiful Mediterranean city.

A beautiful Mediterranean city. The history and the sea are both amazing! Lots of treasures from the Greco-Roman era in Egypt. It became very crowded though during the last decade so traffic became tough. Nevertheless, it still preserves its charm and core vibes. 2-night/ 3-day stay is just perfect to visit Alexandria and all its landmarks.

Alexandria has its own charm.

Alexandria has its own charm. A city that combines a Greco Roman history of more than 2000 years old, mixed with the Mediterranean unique charm and combined with Egyptian typical culture.! The city is witnessing a vast and speedy upgrade in all facilities, entertainment and eating outlets. Modern coffee shops and quality restaurants are available for food lovers. Several luxurious hotels has opened recently (last couple of years only). The sunset view by the sea is breath taking. The only advise for tourists and visitors is to avoid visiting Alexandria during July & August. it's over crowded with summer vacation goers.
