I had a very pleasant stay at Cancun Sokhna Resort and would highly recommend it. The facilities and service were excellent, but a special mention must go to the housekeeping team particularly to Mr. Mustafa, the Head of Housekeeping, for his professionalism and attention to detail. His team kept everything spotless and ensured our stay was extremely comfortable. Also speical thanks to the catering team and the kitche chefs. Thank you for the great hospitality.

A Quick & Refreshing Escape to Ain Sokhna Location & Vibe: Perfect for a quick getaway, Ain Sokhna is just 1.5 hours from Cairo, making it one of the easiest beach escapes to reach. The Sea & Beach: The coastline features lovely sandy beaches and calm, warm sea waters—ideal for relaxing and swimming. Sun Protection: The sun can be quite intense during the day, so using a high-SPF UV protection sunscreen and staying hydrated is essential. Footwear Tip: While the beach is sandy, you'll encounter some sea shells and rocky patches in the water, so wearing dedicated swimming water shoes is highly recommended to protect your feet. Overall, it’s a convenient, beautiful spot for a relaxing seaside break! We enjoyed a mix of fresh Red Sea seafood at local spots along the coastal road, as well as casual dining at nearby resort plazas. Porto Sokhna also offers a solid variety of familiar restaurants and cafes for easy family meals. Favorite Spots: Spending quiet mornings right by the water at Laila Palm Beach was a highlight, along with taking early evening walks when the weather cooled down. The resorts feature kid-friendly splash pools and small water parks that are perfect for little ones. The cable car ride at Porto Sokhna offers gentle, sweeping views of the mountains and sea that kids usually love. Calm Water Play: Because the sea water is so warm and shallow near the shore, build sandcastles, collect shells along the water’s edge, and paddle safely together.

Very nice area with lots of resorts and restaurants. Excellent amazing fishing and snorkeling trips. One hour drive from Cairo. Best fish and shrimp in the world. Best sea sports . very safe for children and relaxing for adults. Amazing mountains view.
