A beautiful hotel in the middle of nowhere, with beautiful surroundings and a very nice restaurant. The staff was very friendly and although the kitchen in the restaurant was going to close (22:00), they agreed to still serve us (21:30), and we were able to have dinner.

A wonderful family hotel! The rooms were very clean, with daily housekeeping. The food was absolutely delicious — everything, from the ingredients to the baked goods, was always fresh and tasty. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The heated pool was perfect, even on cooler days, making swimming enjoyable no matter the weather. There were fun entertainment shows every day at the pool and in the restaurant in the evenings — we were never bored! The staff were very professional and efficient. The service in the restaurant was especially impressive — the waiters worked incredibly fast and managed to be everywhere at once. Everything ran like clockwork. The hotel is located a bit away from the city, so if you want to stroll along the promenade, it’s about a 20–30 minute walk. However, taxis in the city are very cheap — around €7 from the promenade to the hotel. The beds were very comfortable, and the bed linens were soft and pleasant to sleep in. Unfortunately, the hotel has poor sound insulation. We often heard sirens from ambulances or police cars on the nearby road, as well as the noise of passing traffic. It’s possible our villa was too close to the road, and other accommodations might be better in terms of soundproofing. You can also hear everything from the neighboring rooms — even people snoring! That said, it didn’t ruin our experience. We still thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back again. We highly recommend this hotel for families with children!

Fun and Sun All Year Round

The largest of the Canary Islands, Tenerife has sun, sand and sangria all year round. Its landscape is dominated by volcanic Mount Teide, a UNESCO World Heritage Site whose peak is covered by snow. There are fabulous views over Tenerife and the surrounding islands from the cable car that takes you up.

However, most visitors flock to the island for its beaches. The most exclusive area is Costa Adeje, home to most 5-star hotels in Tenerife. It also houses Aqualand waterpark with waterslides, pools and a dolphinarium, while next door Playa de las Americas boasts Siam Park – Europe’s largest waterpark.

This resort is the island’s party capital and features a large number of Tenerife hotels with swimming pools, and a wealth of bars and restaurants. Adjoining Los Cristianos also has a long, sandy beach.

The southern Tenerife beaches are actually artificial, made from white sand imported from the Sahara Desert, because the natural ones are black sand. Tenerife resorts with just such a beach include Puerto de la Cruz and Los Gigantes, which is dramatically sheltered by sheer cliffs.

The layout and style of the hotel are amazing. The views over the mountains and the sea are also amazing. The staff are helpful and friendly and are willing to go to every effort to help assist you with any queries you have. The restaurant and bar facilities are perfect for those evenings you just want to chill at the hotel. The pool is again perfect if you fancy a luzy day of chilling. It is a bit of a walk to the town, and there is a hill whichever way you go, but its worth it as the location is peaceful and quite, but still only 20 mins walk to the strip.

This is a great hotel in a great location. The staff of this hotel is very friendly and always fulfills all requests. The food is always of high quality and tasty, a large assortment. The pools are large, there are many sunbeds for vacationers, there was enough space for everyone, there is also a place to play tennis, a fitness room, and billiards. We appreciate the magnificent nature (here I include the "Martian component" - part of the incredible exoticism of the island outside the town). We learned from the locals that there were several times terrible storms, but the municipality quickly repaired the damage. I am amazed by the magnificent Botanical Garden, I am delighted with Loro Park, the dolphinarium, the aquarium, meetings with killer whales there, and mainly the organization there! Public transport is organized wonderfully, the city is clean, quiet, there is entertainment for every taste! The only difficulties are related to parking (but this was also the case in Madeira, and in the cities of the Azores, and I am afraid to even remember about European tourist cities) and we ourselves, the guests, are "to blame" for this, wanting to explore these beautiful destinations.

Very beautiful area, very safe in my opinion.

Very beautiful area, very safe in my opinion. It is close to all attractions so you can do so much activities. I recommend wearing flip flops in the beach as there are rocks inside the water. Dont pock up any shells from inside the water since they have crabs!

The cost of food and drinks in the capital were surprisingly cheap for a city location and that included our hotel where breakfast was only 15euros per person. Coffees were around 2.80euros and plated meals from 13euros. Communal areas were really well decorated with flowers and comfy seating + all areas that we spent time in were air conditioned. 😊👍 We ate out in the middle of Plaza España at the Compostelana pizzeria which again was reasonably priced for food. Drinks were a little more expensive than in the surrounding bars. We had ice creams at an artisan cafe which were delicious. It was just up passed McDonalds on the left hand side. Very authentic cafe. We visited Santa Cruz to attend a concert on the Saturday night and then spent the next two days wandering around the town centre. There are a lot of places to eat ranging from top end restaurants to Pizzarias and Italian restaurants. There were also snack bars and cafes dotted around the town. Transport is good for enabling you to get around and there is a useful tram service. We also went on the sightseeing bus to get a feel of the city. This departed from the other side of the lake at the bottom of Plaza España. This was a hop on hop off bus service with buses every 30 minutes I think. 🤔

Los Cristianos is an excellent destination for anyone looking for peace, comfort, and a balanced atmosphere. The town offers a perfect mix between tourists and locals, creating a calm and welcoming environment without feeling overcrowded. There are plenty of diverse shops, supermarkets, and restaurants within walking distance, making daily needs easy to manage. The beaches are truly beautiful — clean, wide, and ideal for families or anyone who enjoys a relaxing day by the ocean. Another big advantage is the availability of parking spaces. Even during busy periods, finding a spot is much easier here compared to other areas in Tenerife. Overall, Los Cristianos is a great choice if you want a quiet, well-balanced holiday with beautiful beaches, friendly surroundings, and convenient access to everything you need.

It is on the incoming flight path for the airport so some...

It is on the incoming flight path for the airport so some people may not like this, for us it was not an issue and the views make up for it. It is not ideal for wheelchair uses or poor mobility issues. There are taxi’s in San Blas and a local bus stop not far away. Country kitchen do a great steak amongst other meals, spoons have entertainment and good food and opposite thru is a great cocktail bar. Irish pub was also good on food and always good music. If you want more, a trip to Los Christianos is a good night out.

Great place that is not overcrowded with tourists, no rowdy...

Great place that is not overcrowded with tourists, no rowdy or drunk people, however strong currents in beach, not great for non-confident swimmers or leaving kids swim on their own, most families just sit on beach instead of actual swimming. Great location to reach Los Gigantes and Tamaimo for mountain hikes.

La Laguna is a nice city with a lot of historical churches...

La Laguna is a nice city with a lot of historical churches and museum for free or a very low fee. While in the city center, you can reach all interesting spots by walking, what makes life much easier. You can rest in many restaurants and have a coffee or wine and so enjoy the city in its natural beauty. And if you want to visit the capital city - Santa Cruz the Tenerife, just use the tram and within 30 minutes you are there.

Perfect place to relax! I would even live there!

Perfect place to relax! I would even live there! Lots of entertainment, restaurants, bars, nightlife, beautiful beaches, good food! Everything is within walking distance! There are also many experiences available on the island itself with a transfer! The public transport is also very well organized!

Very quiet area, good for long walks, bad for beach or...

Very quiet area, good for long walks, bad for beach or nightlife. Just about enough restaurants & a good supermarket & taxi rank right opposite our apartments. The entire area is highly gated which made us wonder if the area is safe.
