United StatesWe loved our stay at Serenity Sands. The tents are amazing, and everything is new. The kids bunk room is a little small, but still comfortable. Verandahs are huge, and you can see the ocean from pretty much every room.
Pool was the best part. There's 2 levels to it, with the top level having an infinity edge.
Staff were extremely friendly. Shout out to Inoke, he took really good care of us.

Lots of activities in the area that you can book to go on, or spend hours lounging around by the pool or on the sheltered beach beds with a book. Food was good - we ordered a la carte instead of getting full board. There's a great live band that plays each night, and the staff sing each night as well.
My favourite thing about Serenity is definitely the exceptionally lovely and attentive staff. They are genuinely warm and welcoming, and a lot of fun as well. There is a relaxed and joyful vibe here that is hard to beat. I will definitely be back here in the future.

We had the best stay at Serenity. EVERYTHING! There was actually nothing to hate about the stay. The people, the location, the room, the food, the activities, everything was beyond expectations. We went for above moderate level of accommodation and we got exactly that and more. The pool was beautiful, everything was looked after exceptionally well. The food was fresh and well cooked. The staff looked after you at meal times. You always felt welcome as Fijians always make you feel. The Spa was lovely. The island was well manicured and managed. The room was cleaned daily and was a great bed to sleep in. The activities organized daily by the staff were great and varied. Beautiful place to stay. Would go back in a flash.

Lovely location! The rooms have a fantastic view! In addition to the public pool, our room has a private plunge pool, which was convenient and a nice touch. All rooms have an amazing outdoor shower! Great water pressure with lots of hot water. The beds were very comfortable! The staff was incredible from the first minute to the last. Food was included. It was fantastic, and different every day. This was an experience that we will treasure, and we hope to return soon!

Everything, it is an expensive place but definitely worth it in every way. Mega friendly staff, beautiful location, opportunity to do water sport activities for free, food is pretty good and it is sustainable. Free ice cream every day. They welcome you and say farewell with a lovely team singing. Really everything is there for a reason. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable

Great location, accessible from the mainland. Beautiful views from the top of the hill, comfortable accommodations, amazing food, friendly helpful staff. Very relaxed vibe, easy access by boat to Namotu and Tavarua reefs.

Tokoriki is 'pleasant' but compared with other good Fijian...
Tokoriki is 'pleasant' but compared with other good Fijian resorts', the resort lacks character and soul!
Several Fijian customs are 'addressed through presentations rather than integrated into the life of the resort. Also, although practical, I didn't like all the meals served as they might be in a canteen!
I thought of this as an American style resort and didn't like it much,.
I should comment that the Fijian staff made up for all this a bit through their wonderful welcome and farewell singing!

As a large family group of 2 grandparents, 6 adult children and 3 grandkids, the resort was excellent and catered for all ages. A great selection of 4 pools, beautiful beach, 2 superb restaurants and a large buffet restaurant, plus other eateries. Various shops and bars. Night time entertainment, fire dancers were excellent, grandson amazed that "he ate fire"!
Water sport activities, catamaran, kayaks, jumping inflatable. Relaxing spa, 9 hole golf course with Plantation island golf balls so they're all the same! Boats available for a quick trip to Cloudbreak and other surf breaks. Cloud 9 floating bar. We did it all and it was all amazing.

A great island, with a good resort.
A great island, with a good resort. The beaches are safe for swimming and snorkeling with lovely warm water. The best part is the locals they are the happiest friendliest people in the world.
We will be back again next year!

Do not book into this "resort" if you would like nice and good service, good food and a general feel of comfort. It was all terrible.
The pool was under construction which was not said prior. We sat on the beach and listened to a jack hammer for an entire day.

The snorkelling was amazing, so much live coral and plenty of fish just off the beach. We saw reef sharks off the back of Serenity island, we also saw one swim in front of our beach front Bure. We also went on a trip to the Sandbar and it had amazing coral also, the team at Serenity island made our trip so much fun and was a great group bonding event.

I cannot praise the staff enough. Anything you wanted they took care of. Our bure was right on the beach and there were sturdy steps leading down to the water that was almost lapping at our door. Taking a dip in the sea was easy and refreshing. The restaurant and bar areas were great and always b right and happy with local Fijians making music. The quiet pool was lovely as we are older adults and appreciated the fact the children had another pool to swim and play in. We could relax with a cocktail around the pool. Overall it was a great stay and recommend it to anyone going to Fiji - it is a must.

We didnt stay for the surfing, but for snorkelling, cloud 9...
We didnt stay for the surfing, but for snorkelling, cloud 9 and the bushwalk. From the summit of the hike the views are amazing. Take sturdy shoes, water (safe to drink) and a few snacks from the mainland as the hike is hard work in the heat, its steep with loose dirt/gravel - about an hour or so one way.
We snorkelled off sandbank and it wasnt too busy - at low tide the sandbank is exposed so put your towel and water down there and spend an hour with the reef fish. Some of them came right up to me, I wonder if they’ve been fed or are just friendly.
Cloud 9 was just fun. Byo goggles or snorkel, a money card and a towel. Jump off the roof into the water, swim with the fish and enjoy a pizza and a cocktail.

Beautiful island in an ideal location. Small enough to explore and not get lost, and recommend taking a walk to the peak of the island to view the surrounding coast and other islands, particularly at sunset.

We stayed in a beach front Bure for 4 days after a 5 day stay at a small boutique adults only resort nearby. This is a big, chain hotel resort that is very different. It is well suited to families and people who like to lounge around the large central pool with a swim up bar. This is not really us, but we found the resort offered us quiet privacy at our bure, some nice walks, pretty good snorkeling out front of the resort, some fun activities, a nice beach, fantastic sunsets and ok food (at a price). Overall, a very nice time and comparatively good value.
