Great location just on the waterfront, wonderful staff, excellent breakfast (except for the coffee - an expresso machine would be nice). Great balcony from our room where we could view the seafront and the castle. Room was very spacious and overall the decoration of the hotel was very quirky, interesting colour scheme and art works throughout.

The bungalows were roomy and well-appointed. The location was remote - which was so pleasant and peaceful - but very close to Kryoneri beach, which has sunbeds, tavernas. A short drive into Missolonghi. The hosts were so lovely and accommodating. They were really helpful in working with us when our travel dates changed.

The location, views from our beautiful balcony, and the caring staff were exceptional. The pool was beautiful and the entire facility was lovingly maintained by the owners. The beach is beautiful with comfortable chairs and umbrellas provided. The parking was so convenient and easily accessible to our room.

We loved our stay at the plaza hotel. Bobby, Maria, and Tex were all so warm and welcoming & made us feel like family. The location is fabulous right across from the beach and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. Definitely book your stay at Plaza hotel, and you will not be disappointed.!!!

Everything was wonderful.
It was my first time in Nafpakto. I spent a few days there with my elderly aunt and they took such great care of us. Maria at the front desk was kind, helpful and informative. Definitely worth it and will stay at the Nafs again on my next visit!

The stafff were excellent. They couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel was effectively in winter shutdown, so was not operating as a ‘luxury resort’. The hotel was next to a busy main road, in the industrial outskirts Agrinio. That said, it was pleasant and surprisingly quiet. The breakfast was very good.

We had the most wonderful stay in beautiful Paleros. Although on the mainland it had a real small island charm to it. The people are so friendly and the pace of life is very relaxed. The food in the many restaurants was fantastic and very reasonably priced. We will definately be returning to this lovely place🙂

Perfect location to immerse yourself in self care.
Perfect location to immerse yourself in self care. A quiet town with lots of hidden gems like the turtles on the beach, church on the hill. Great location for hiking or if you want to just have lazy days chilling enjoying local food.
The farmers market on Wednesday's is great for topping up groceries if you staying in self catering.
Local residents were warm, polite and super helpful. I recommend you learn a bit of Greek to communicate with locals.
My favourite place to eat was Nakas Tavern next to the shell petrol station.
The mayor of Amfilochia welcomes law abiding tourist that visit and leave the area better than when they came.

A small genuine village with enough restaurants and fast food to cover a week or two. a small beach with free sun beds, nice water and a very cool relaxed vibe makes Vonitza recommendable for both couples and families.

Astakos, itself, is a splendid little Greek town that offers more than is immediately apparent. There are some very nice shops and restaurants, including several right on the waterfront. If you don't mind a hike, there are the ruins of the Castle of Dragamestos, from the Byzantine era. Not far from there are the ruins of the temple to Zeus Karaos. Both are really amazing sites, though the tails are not well maintained. If these were in other regions of the world they would be revered as important historical/archeological sites. In Greece, in the current day, I must say that they seem to be taken a bit for granted. Along this same tragic line, the town is in decline, as are so many Greek towns, but still quite beautiful. My impression is that Europeans and Americans come to Greece and go to Athens and then maybe Santorini, and then ignore much of the rest of this amazing country.

We were travelling through and just wanted a place to stay...
We were travelling through and just wanted a place to stay for the night. We were pleasantly surprised not only by the hotel, that opened just a few weeks ago, but also by all the activities that are on offer: hiking, E-biking, swimming, E-foil etc. The hotel is brand new, with comfortable rooms, good food (there is even a sushi bar!). We will definitely come back and stay for a few more days.

Beautiful and unspoiled location, low population and the number of tourists not swarming the area like the hotspots of Greek mountain villages, but adding a small pleasant presence to the serenity of the village. Overall, 100% recommend to anyone seeking relaxation, nature, hikes, great food and friendly people!

It´s a beautiful city, at the Corintian Gulf.
It´s a beautiful city, at the Corintian Gulf. You are in the middle of the old town of Lepanto, with the wall all around and the castle at the top. Worth while a stop to visit and an excellent place to visit Ancient Delphi, just one hour and a half. Dont´s miss Galaxidi on the way, to enjoy the beach.
