We absolutely loved our stay. The room was comfortable, decorated perfectly, everything in working order, had everything we needed. The location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the center of town and restaurants. We loved sitting out on the porch enjoying the view. The space allowed us privacy while still offering a chance to speak to your neighbors. The host was super helpful in familiarizing us with the area, with services and with recommendations. Definitely recommend!!!

The property is amazing, full of flowers, green, with a big public pool and a small private pool in the room, the room was big, well finished. Staff is exceptional and super supportive. The breakfast is generous, diverse, and delicious. The position of the hotel is perfect, 2 minutes by scooter from the Chora and equidistant from a lot of amazing beaches. Definitely a 10/10.

Excellent in every way! Great location. Traditional Greek house, with interesting history, while still having all the amenities. Tasty breakfast, including homemade pies. But most of all, Popi is the nicest host you can have: she makes you feel welcome in very nice and subtle ways, provides insights about places and events, picks you up when you arrive. Would love to come back!

The hotel is great and the couple that run it are very nice, accomodating, and helpful. Very clean and well maintained rooms and common areas. The pool is also really nice, even though it's a stone's throw away from Μπλε Λιμανακι (Blue Harbour beach) and Maltezana beach, and a few hundred meters away from Plakes. The hotel is conveniently positioned in the middle of Astypalaia, so it's easy to drive west to Chora and drive east to other beaches or Vathi.

Amazing little island, friendly people and easy to get around via the Astybus! Enough shops, restaurants, and cafes to enjoy the trip as well as local markets. Plenty of quiet places to enjoy the island. Beautiful views from nearly every spot on the island.

Analipsi is a gorgeous village in Astypalea.

Analipsi is a gorgeous village in Astypalea. If you are looking for a relaxed and peaceful stay, a gorgeous clean beach, low key cafes and restaurants (lots of fish dishes and seafood) it is THE perfect place to go. No noisy bikes / scooters. Perfect for couples (not much for children) wanting a stress free break. Car hire would be beneficial to get to the Chora (a 15 minute drive) and enjoy the excellent views, and sample the lovely food. But it is possible to do without a car, using the bus or the "Astybus" which will pick you up on request.

The town is built on a very steep hillside, with most of the restaurants and bars at the top. In the summer there is a bus that runs from the beach to the top. If you come by ferry, check the sailing times, as most are middle of the night and the main port is not at Pera Gyalos. The roads leave a lot to be desired.

Astypalea is "butterfly island" of the Aegean and probably the most charming I've ever visited. As someone who goes every year to Greece, sometimes twice a year, this island has flown under my radar until now. I think this place is so charming that I don't want any tourist to spoil it. Its not the easiest to get there as there are limited flights from Athens and not that many ferries either. I came via Kos and I stayed 4 days, 3 nights. I loved walking every day to Chora, discovering the few open local restaurants, it was end of April, so still very slow, and using the Astyapp, there share car ride services, that work better than Uber in many cities.
