The only thing I would recommend is taking a car to visit the beaches in the neighboring towns."

"Neapoli Voion has a little bit of everything. It has just the right amount of nightlife (dining and beverages) with plenty of places to try for a couple of weeks. Beaches inside Neapoli aren’t Greece travel-worthy, but within a few minutes, you can be at some very nice beaches that could compete with any of your favorite beaches.
Come here to enjoy the culture, food, and small beach town life.
Take day trips to the beautiful beaches between Neapoli and Elafonisos. Notable, and I hope I am not sharing the secret, but Maganos and Pounta have beautiful beaches.
If you’re not aware, they close the main road from 9:00 PM to 1:30 AM every night to allow for free roam of the streets between the bridge and main restaurant areas, including the two playgrounds and basketball court. Kids can run around with very little fear of getting lost or into much trouble."

TurkeyI stopped at this hotel for one night in winter during my tour of the Peloponnese. It was extremely quiet in february. The room has a nice view over the bay. My host Eleni was extremely nice and friendly; moreover she operates the bakery on the first floor and her products are delightful.

GreeceA great family owned hotel in the heart of Elafonisos. Our room was very comfortable. Their breakfast was delicious. It is a close walk to the harbor with restaurants, Kafeneios and shops. We had a beautiful sunset from our window. We drove to the famous Simos Beach. Staying overnight on the island was a wonderful and relaxing way to end our day. I highly recommend and we would absolutely stay here again.

Great hotel and staff. Very nice beach with enough sunbeds and umbrellas. Elia with restaurants and supermarkets is easy reachable by foot in 15-20 minutes, although the car is recommended to visit Monevmasia and many other places. The hotel helped us with transfers and renting the car, everything was very easy. Good restaurant, my recommendation will be not to take half-board. It is very nice with wonderful choice of dishes, but in the regular menu the choice is bigger.

Perhaps our favorite thing about this hotel was the location! Great spot, stunning views, across from access to swimming with a pier and ladder, first stop when you cross the bridge and literally next to the Old Town!! Highly recommend staying here!

The view of the sea and the beauty feeling of having the place all to myself. It’s at the end of the island so you feel so away from the busy street life however is only a 3 minute walk to the busy area. It does get dark at night walking back so perhaps plan to use your phone for light at night.

Absolutely stunning interior. Gorgeous castle we felt like a royal family staying there. Very clean, spacious and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. The host was very helpful and kind. Highly recommend for couples and or families with kids. We had our 2 kids with us.

Such a beautiful experience staying at Malvasia Traditional Hotel. The room was lovely with a stunning view from the balcony. The breakfast was great and the staff were friendly.
The location is perfect - staying in Monemvasia is a real unique experience.

We really liked that the hotel was in a quote neighbourhood, the rooms were large, we had alot of space in the rooms, very kind people, very nice breakfast! 3’ walk from the beach! We will go again!

The old city is beautiful both during the evening as during the day. Enjoyed the walk up to the castle and the small beaches nearby. There were plenty of restaurants, who chose the ones that served fresh fish.

One of the best locations in Greece if you are looking for blue water and clean beaches, outside of the main tourist locations this is perfect. So many towns to visit close on day trips or overnights. The Peloponnese is amazing.

Peaceful place, small beach with clear waters, ideal place for relaxed vacations. Nice and reasonably priced food, a mini-market for some essential groceries is missing though, the closest is located in Demonia. A bit difficult to reach the area due to the country road network.

Monemvasia is quite unique and well worth a visit when in Greece. It is one of the few medieval locations in Europe which has been continually inhabited. The old town or Kastro/Castle on the rock has been beautifully preserved and retains a magical character

Near to Elafonisos island which is mostly known for Simos beach, Neapoli Voion has a lot to offer.
Nice sidewalk along the sea with plenty of cafe and restaurants.
You may explore the Kastania cave, visit the he Archaeological Museum of Neapolis Voion or hike to the Cape Maleas.
