It's also very centrally located, nestled within the dark shadow of plane and chestnut trees; making it ideal for getting around the island's attractions. They also serve breakfast, which is reasonably priced and good. The lady and Mr. Grigoriadis were very attentive and kind. I had a wonderful four days.

Since the building is next to another they actually made the extra effort to paint the wall so when you walk out on the balcony you are not seeing just an ugly/boring wall in front of you.

Great location with private beach with cozy little restaurant that had delicious food.
The staff, especially Christo the waiter and the red-haired girl at the bar, are awesome. Very smart, very hard working, great young people.
Although the room was a bit tight for a family of four, it was enough for us, we slept really well.
Sheets are changed daily and the room is cleaned daily, which we appreciated.
If you dine in the restaurant, make sure to ask about the fresh fish options, they are great.
The pink mojito and the fredo cappuccino are also really good.
Generally, we got more than we expected for the price.

It's such a nice place if you look for a quiet stay. A little way away from the main road but close enough to Terma town and the beach (walkable distance). The owner is super duper nice and is almost always around.
The matresses on the bed were a little to hard for me but over all clean and confortable.

Accommodation is perfect,the rooms are big and clean,air is crystal clear, the sea is 30m across the garden, a quiet place for rest, you must to try the roasted goat, they are unique, they drink sea water so they are already prepared for roasting.
The owner Paulina is the first league.

An amazing green and fresh island with warm people and great history. The visit to the archaelogical site was rewarding. The natural beauty of the the cataracts and ponds is unique but you need to get there very early in the morning to avoid the crowds. The beaches are not the island's strongest asset but the water quality is great.

Really nice location, where the ferry lands. It is somewhat isolated from the rest and you do need a car, otherwise it has two pharmacies, markets and decent restaurants, although we ate best outside of Kamariotissa.

The main reason for going to Palaipoli is to visit the Sanctuary of the Greater Gods. The monument site is amazing and with the associated modern museum is certainly well worth an extended visit.
Other than that there is not really anything else to do in Palaipoli itself. However if you have a car or motor scooter than there is nothing to stop you from exploring the rest of the island.

Great place to rest, far away from the crowds, actually it is located in the hart of nature, at the foot of the mountain, between the olive trees. Cats and goats (?) are almost your only neighbours. If you want to relax with the sound of nature only and also benefit from the comfort of the apartment, this is the place. Thea sea is just 1,5-2 km away.
For those coming to Samothraki for visiting its landscapes and culture.

A beautiful and somewhat untamed island. Pack your hiking boots or trail running shoes to make the most of the hiking it has to offer. There are a few beaches that are not rocky, one with sand and one with small pebbles but the water is very clean everywhere!

Not the most beautiful place if you compare it to other Greek islands.It is a fishing port which has grown slightly to include a number of coffee shops and tavernas.You can find supermarkets, chemist, ATM, bakery ,rooms to rent, scooters and car hire.

beach (round rocks, very clear water) with unpretentious nice beach bar, lovely village cafe and terrace in shade of platan trees, starting point for hike to Saos peak (Fengari). Good food variety, quality and fair prices at Gefiri tavern, Falekas pitas and bougatsa for breakfast and village cafe/ terrace for a drink. Relaxed crowd, alternative, but calm, younger and families seeking quietness and nature. Very green, basically houses and few tavernas scattered among ancient trees, easy to get around on foot or moped. Easy to reach Kamariotissa (20 min drive) and Fonias gorge and vathres (5 min).

It is more for campus, hippies and free spirits.
It is more for campus, hippies and free spirits. I think they've advertised that way and is bought a cheaper type crowd. Everything is cheap on the island - all meals and everything everywhere, but you do need a means of transport, they do need to fix infrastructure roads are really bad and it seems like time has forgotten this place. - more street and places signs would be okay too?
