Our stay here was pure pleasure! The hotel is beautifully located in a lovely mountain village, overlooking the sea. Our hosts were so nice! The hotel has an inner garden with a small restaurant with delicious Greek food. The rooms were very comfortable, homey and clean. We had a terrace overlooking the view. We will return :) Thank you

Everything was great. We had an all-inclusive stay, and all drinks, sunbeds, and umbrellas at the beach were included in the price. The bungalows are renovated, and they have their own patio with wooden sunbeds and a swing. It's super modern, cosy, and clean. The cleaning lady comes every day. I would recommend it to every generation, from young to elderly.

We've been to a lot of accomodations but Kymata hotel showed us what hospitality means! First of all, the hotel was perfect, rooms exactly like on the pictures, clean and cleaned daily. Within the hotel there is a restaurant with extremly delicious food. When we arrived they gave us coffee for free to welcome us, and after every meal they are giving us a dessert for free. Hotel has a private beach outside with sunbeds and hotel staff is bringing you whatever you need, all you need is to enjoy. Platamon is 20min away by walk (3min with car) from the hotel and for me and my pregnant wife that was perfect, to have a walk every day, peace and sound of sea only. But what is the best about Kymata hotel are the people, extremly nice people trying to make your vacation unforgettable. When we headed back they packed croissants for my wife for the trip, since she is pregnant. Special thanks to mister Yanis. We'll definitely see each other next year but in room with sea view as a must! :)

We had a fantastic stay here for a few nights preseason.. The hosts were super friendly, professional and very welcoming. The room was cleaned and resh towels were delivered every day. It had a fridge and all the necessary cutlery that was perfect for self-catering, plus an electric hob to do cooking. The bathroom is a good size and very powerful shower.. The balcony was also good size with a great view. Also there is a lovely outdoor space outside the room for having breakfast on the veranda, or a chilled out drink after dinner whilst playing some cards.. The location is brilliant - just a minute to the beach, and in the other direction 1 minute to the first supermarket, bakery and taverna. Absolutely loved our visit and would definitely return again.

We really liked the facilities, the splash park - it is a really good option for small kids, the common areas with the green grass in front of the hotel were really nice too - very spacious and even though the hotel was full, there was enough space so no one feel it is overcrowded. Definitely recommend it for families with kids. There is an entertainment staff with different activities every day, mini disco for kids, food was different variety every day, free parking - everything is great.

Traveled with my partner to this wonderful beach resort to be with our friend's extended family. Wonderful place for families! As a base it’s ok to explore the surrounding beaches, that said I wasn’t impressed with the beaches either but then I had just come from Halkidiki, Sithonia and the beaches there are beautiful so perhaps I’m being a bit unfair. Skotinis beach and in the opposite direction le moon beach bar on Mylos beach were my favourites. Platamonas is nice to have dinner & a walk one night. As is Nei Pori. Leptokarya itself is bigger than you think but just feels run down somehow. Not a place I’d go back to.

Platamonas is a great town to visit.

Platamonas is a great town to visit. Everything is centralized along the waterfront with great restaurants, shops, pharmacies and everything else within easy reach. The streets are kept very clean and the evenings provide a nice family atmosphere to walk, dine and get a gelato. The beaches are nice, with lidos to pay for an umbrella and lounges, or a free beach very close by. English is spoken at almost every shop, hotel and restaurant and I found nothing but curtesy in every transaction.

Great location for a quiet vacation with family and/or friends. Very green due to mountains nearby that also offer nice hiking venues and experience. Great walking to nearby town of Panteleomonas with beautiful marina and a nice church that stays open till late. Area crowned by Platamon castle on a hill nearby adds to the magic. A few wild beaches nearby provide place for a tranquil relax with no crowds. Overall great place.

Paleos Panteleimon is a true mountain jewel at the foot of Mount Olympus — a beautifully preserved traditional village with narrow cobblestone streets where cars cannot enter. Visitors park at the entrance, but the village is small and easy to walk, so reaching any part of it is effortless. The atmosphere is peaceful, the tavernas are remarkable, and the views are unforgettable — from almost anywhere you can see the entire bay, and on clear evenings the distant lights of Halkidiki sparkle across the horizon. It’s a charming, unforgettable place to visit.

We used Dion rather than the village of Litichuro as our base for climbing Mount Olympus - our guesthouse the Malathro Olympus was fabulous and the host, Giannus was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful - the local restaurant owners were friendly and fun too and it only takes 35 minutes to drive to Prionia, the base for the E4 Olympus trail

It offers great opportunities for mountain tourism, lovely restaurants, and important religious sites.
