"Oia is an exceptional tourist location; the view to the sea, especially at sunset is spectacular; the sea seen from above on the terraces of Oia is a wonderful blue. There are plenty of taverns where you can eat dishes specific to the Greek islands. Our host recommended us the Skala restaurant and we were not disappointed at all. I warmly recommend you to stay in Santorini for at least two or three days, so that you can discover all the beautiful places on this island, to admire the specific architecture and to be able to enjoy the typical atmosphere of a Greek island."

"This was my second time in Santorini but first time staying in Firostefani. It was great as we didn't have to deal with the cruise crowds as much as in Thera. It was much less crowded and this made for more pleasant walks and exploring. We had breakfast twice at Cafe Galini, the food was great and the view amazing. We had dinner at Taverna Aktaion, the oldest taverna in Santorini, the food was great, would definitely recommend if you want authentic greek food!"

We had the pleasure pf meeting Anna upon arrival who was not only informative about the hotel but recommended the greatest places to visit in Santorini and thanks to her we didn't miss anything! Our suite was flooded with sunlight from morning to evening, beautifully designed and impossibly clean. Every detail felt thoughtful: towels that smelled like vanilla cake, high-end bath products, and a bed so comfortable it felt like floating. At night, subtle lighting made the whole place glow with a kind of old-world, art deco magic. Breakfast was a daily highlight — fresh, flavorful, and with enough variety to make each morning feel new. Whether we were heading out by car or ATV, we were perfectly situated to explore every corner of the island, and we did — slowly, meaningfully, meeting locals, wandering off path, letting the island unfold naturally. And the people? The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring — you could feel they wanted you to love your time there as much as they do. If you’re not into the rushed cruise ship version of Santorini, this is your spot. It’s for travelers, not tourists. The Ark gave us the kind of stay we were hoping for — calm, connected, and full of small, perfect moments.

We really loved this place, we thought that we wanted to live in there, the place was really amazing you get an amazing view from Oía and the sea, close to everything just a little trouble because of the stairs but that's the way it is in Oia, Santorini, you won't be bothered by any noise nor people in there since you have to walk down from the main avenue. The only thing is that probably we would prefer a pool than a hottub, it was always working so when the weather is hot it feels like a sauna in there, I would rather be on a not so hot pool but at night it was simply perfect, I can imagine that in winter will be similar to that it is not cheap but it's also not that expensive... value for money, totally worth it. They also let us arrive prior to our check in time, and there are persons that help you with your luggage while they take you down there.

We had an amazing stay at Andronis Luxury Suites. The staff were incredibly helpful, assisting us with restaurant reservations, beauty salon bookings, and anything else we needed. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The hotel is peaceful and quiet, with no noise disturbances at all. Its location is perfect — right in the heart of Oia, just steps away from all the boutiques. We truly enjoyed our time at Andronis and would definitely choose it again on our next visit.

Fira is a beautiful place to stay, offering the perfect combination of warm summer weather, delicious food, and breathtaking views. We enjoyed exploring the area and trying different restaurants and cafés every day. Due to jet lag, we found ourselves visiting the 24-hour café near Thira Centre a few times, as it was one of the only places open early in the morning around 7am. We walked to the shops every day and found some nice bargains. We walked up and down the caledra wall and a couple of the family members went up the cable car. The location made it easy to explore Fira on foot, including visiting the famous Three Bells of Fira and taking in the stunning sights around the town. We also took a taxi to Black Beach and caught the bus to Oia, where we enjoyed a wonderful dinner and watched the famous Santorini sunset.

It's very touristy and pricier than the other islands we visited. Having travelled from Paros and Naxos the weeks prior- ending the trip in Oia didn't feel overly relaxing. That said, the views are spectacular and I don't regret going. The two nights we stayed there was enough for our family.

The view is breathtaking.

The view is breathtaking. In my opinion, it is the best in Santorini. On the other hand, there isn't much to do in Imerovigli. Every evening, I had to walk to Fira to go out. The walk is not short, public transportation only runs until 8:00 PM, and taxis are expensive. If you want to get to Oia by bus, you first have to take a bus to Fira and then another bus to Oia. The same applies on the way back. If I ever return to Santorini, I would book a hotel in Fira.

I liked Akrotiri because it’s away from the busyness of the main cities like Fira or Oia. It’s better to have a car when choosing that area because it’s so easy to move around can easily access bakery, petrol station, supermarket and of course there is never a shortage of amazing views on the island.

Bricki was a great place to eat, but there were many good restaurants and the Greeks certainly know how to prepare lamb. We didn’t know it the first two days, but there is a scenic, romantic walkway along the side of the cliff - amazing.

The hotel's location is great and convenient if you want easy access to restaurants, bars, shops etc. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel team facilitates every travellers with all the information including even booking some activities.

Oia is one of the most beautiful and unforgettable places in Santorini. The views are absolutely breathtaking, with the famous whitewashed buildings, blue domes, dramatic cliffs, and incredible sunsets creating a truly magical atmosphere. Every corner feels like a postcard, and there are countless beautiful spots to discover while walking through the narrow streets. The village offers many charming places to explore, including beautiful viewpoints, traditional houses, small shops, art galleries, cafés, and restaurants with spectacular views over the Aegean Sea. The architecture, the unique atmosphere, and the combination of sea, sky, and volcanic landscape make Oia a special destination that everyone should experience at least once. One of the highlights is simply walking around and enjoying the scenery. There are many hidden corners away from the main streets where you can appreciate the beauty and peaceful side of Santorini. The sunsets are famous for a reason, and watching the colors change over the caldera is a truly memorable experience. The main downside is that Oia can become extremely crowded, especially during the busiest hours and around sunset. The narrow streets can feel very busy, and sometimes it becomes difficult to fully enjoy the views because of the number of visitors. Finding a quiet spot or taking photos without large crowds can be challenging. Despite the crowds, Oia remains a unique and stunning place. Visiting early in the morning or later in the evening is a great way to enjoy its beauty in a more relaxed atmosphere. Overall, Oia is a must-visit destination with incredible views, unforgettable scenery, and a magical charm. The crowds are the only major disadvantage, but the beauty of the village makes the experience worthwhile.

Our stay was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the beautiful setting made the experience even more memorable. A special thank you to George and Costas, who were incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely made our stay unforgettable with their outstanding service. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their warm hospitality really stood out. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough and would recommend it without hesitation. We can't wait to return!

Akrotiri is a peaceful and beautiful part of Santorini, away from the busy tourist areas. It has an authentic local atmosphere, great views, and easy access to the Red Beach and the famous archaeological site. Ideal for those who love history, nature and quiet holidays.

It's just the right location.

It's just the right location. Yes you have to visit Oia to get the full Santorini Caldera experience, but I honestly feel Firostefani can also offer the same vibe, maybe on a smaller scale compared to Oia. A walking distance to the capital Fira and Imerovigli. Stunning restaurants and boutiques around and the caldera and open spaces to watch the gorgeous sunsets.
