We ate at the Paris Hotel courtyard cafe and Mama Sophia’s in Orpheu Street, a delightful Taverna. Would also recommend Louis.
Next time I would rent a car in order to visit other spots on the island."

"Beautiful island, but not for a long stay. Only if you like to party, this island is for you. Very expensive. Food, drinks, and accommodation will cost you 2-3 times more. Beach Clubs like Scorpio are cool to spend a day and party at night but the bill will shock you. Make sure to make reservations especially if you are traveling during the high season.
It was very windy during our visit, our speed boat got canceled from Athens to Myconos and we got moved into a slower and bigger boat, so instead of 2 hrs, it took us 4.5 hrs to get there. I recommend paying for platinum seats on the boat. They are very comfortable and the sitting area was not crowded comparing other levels."

"Kos Town was very nice and interesting. Bus service very good. Plenty of bus tours to see island and very reasonably priced. We personally would not stay too far out of Kos Town (but not in it) as it was a pleasant walk and plenty to do and see once in town. The hot Therma pool is needing a tidy up - the pool itself is small. Felt it wasn't really worth a visit. It can be windy - which is actually a blessing as keeps the heat to a very nice temp. All in all would recommend Kos."

"The Hotel we stayed at Irini's was perfect. In the middle of many restaurants, near the local bus, the beach right there! Just remember to request a room with ocean views. The sunset and sunrise was very impressive. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Small town with three Main streets packed clubs, bars with tourists that seem to enjoy the loud music every night at the center, mainly English.
Do not take accomodation in the center of Faliraki if you want to sleep.
Found some nice bars and tavernas on the beach!
Would definitely recommend to go to restaurant Yamas Mario and Taverna Stama!!! amazing sea food and fish and very kind service.
Anthony Quinn bay is 40 minutes walk from faliraki so can be a nice walking trip for a day.
After 4 days we felt like we did everything and came to be a bit bored, so if you have more days, go to other places on the island."

"The view in the villa we stayed was the best on the island (Calderas Majesty)
We ate at Pelican Kipos in Fira twice - it was so good.
We rented a car for our stay - definitely recommend as the island is big and the public transportation is mediocre at best."

"The town has so many restaurants and bars and perfect spots to watch the sunset. The town is easily walkable, to beaches as well. Definitely a great location for a home base, you do need a car and I recommend exploring the island. So much to see, good hiking up Mount Zas to see the cave - scary climb in places but worth it!"

"From the outskirts the town just seems okay, but once you find the labyrinth of beautiful stone streets with white walls and blue doors with all the shops and restaurants, it is amazing! Highly recommend this town and the island of Paros. It's just as beautiful as the other islands, and way less crowded. Also super convenient to travel all over the island to other towns/beaches from Parikia via ATV within 20 min."

"Fantastic Views of the sea and the white buildings along the cliff face in Oia. Ammoudi Bay is well worth a visit and a spot of Lunch - from here you can take a swim on one of the nearby small secluded stone beaches or take a boat trip. This is also the best place to see the sunset. In Oia I would recommend a walk along the narrow streets, visit cafes and restaurants and potter in the shops"

We truly enjoyed this hotel. All the staff were professional, attentive and hospitable, and the room was beautiful, well-equipped, well-maintained and soundproof. This was a working vacation, so we were glad for the ample desk, good reading lamps and stable Internet. Watching the sunrise from the balcony was a real treat. The breakfast included everything one could desire. The beach facilities, right across the street, were a bit shabby, but that was not the hotel’s domain. For evening sun, it’s a very short walk around the tip of the island.
We would gladly stay at the Mediterranean Hotel again.

From transfer from port to hotel with Georg, reception with Andreana and Letisia, breakfast buffett, with the wonderful team of 2, pool and bar, room top and renewed, view to caldera and volcano, the origin of this beauty called Santorini. Lovely staff, clean and tidy. Maybe a little treat in the end of the bed or something would be nice. Prices to get to airport were high as other places in Mykonos offered a free airport shuttle but excellent location. Also thank j you for the beautiful beach and safety. Great time.

Stunning, simple, natural design of the property and the accommodations. The layout is wonderful for a private feel. We booked a Private villa style “casa” with a private pool. The resort is built perfectly into the natural landscape of the land with a gorgeous private beach.

Beautiful place but a little expensive. Food is not cheap but still Ok. Most beaches charge a lot of money for the sun beds.
I would recommend going to beaches were you don't have to rent a sun bed like Agios Stefanos (50%) or Agios Sostis (100% free. No beds) which is very beautiful

Extremely touristy which means bland and expensive food. Nothing to resemble the greatness of Greek cuisine. You need to have a car and explore places outside Rhodes town to eat well. Very tacky, dirty and attracting a cheap, drinking clientele.

Fira is a beautiful place to stay, offering the perfect combination of warm summer weather, delicious food, and breathtaking views. We enjoyed exploring the area and trying different restaurants and cafés every day. Due to jet lag, we found ourselves visiting the 24-hour café near Thira Centre a few times, as it was one of the only places open early in the morning around 7am. We walked to the shops every day and found some nice bargains. We walked up and down the caledra wall and a couple of the family members went up the cable car.
The location made it easy to explore Fira on foot, including visiting the famous Three Bells of Fira and taking in the stunning sights around the town. We also took a taxi to Black Beach and caught the bus to Oia, where we enjoyed a wonderful dinner and watched the famous Santorini sunset.

5 days in Chora (we also spent 5 days at Agios Prokopios),...
5 days in Chora (we also spent 5 days at Agios Prokopios), so 10 days in total on Naxos. Bit different to my last visit in 1987!! Still has its charm but at risk of becoming too overwhelmed with tourists. No cruise ships so no major influx of people each day but still a lot of people. Need to make dinner reservations or you will miss out at the good restaurants. Ferry schedules and capacity keeps it under control but I can see increasing in the hunt for more tourist dollars.
The food is amazing here..best on our trip and many great options to chose.

Naousa is a very cute Greek village and port North East the island of Paros. The multiple restaurants and cafes serve delicious Greek food (fresh fish!... Yum!). We ate at the Open Garden and a couple of other restaurants on the port facing the yachts and the catamarans.
The souvenirs and jewelry shops were hard to resist, and we bought all kinds of things to remember the beautiful and memorable stay we had on the island.
Greek people and shop keepers were very kind especially when we did our best to order our food in Greek, ask for the check, and learn about the Greek history.

We debated Parikia versus Naousa, and I'm so glad we picked Parikia. The old town is beautiful, with excellent local artisan clothes and craft shops, restaurants and bars. It's busy but not too busy, so has a really nice vibe about it. There are multiple lovely seafront restaurants either side of the ferry terminal, Bus, ferry and taxi terminals are right beside each other, so connecting with other islands and getting the bus or taxi for day trips (eg to Lefkes) is easy. We visited Naousa on a day trip and it was lovely too, but we noticed a considerable difference in the prices, both in shops and restaurants, between there and Parikia, and it just didn't have the same feel/vibe, with more groups of younger holiday makers, and it was definitely more crowded/busier.

Nice beach with several facilities like many ships to sebveral nearby locations.
You can also rent private boats without license.
Anthony Bay is highly overrated unless you know and do Snorkeling. There is a very small beach on one side and rocks on the other. All area has private sunbeds.
Lindos and Rhodes Medival city day trips are fine and can be done using public buses.

The accommodation where we stayed (Liogerma) was just perfect - location; breakfast; staff…all contributed to an amazing part of our holiday. So glad we chose Adamas as our base (first time in Milos). We visited Plaka (wouldn’t stay there, not much happening) and Pollonia (would definitely stay here in the future). We were supposed to be hiring a car (told in Australia that we didn’t need an international driving licence as there’s an agreement with Greece but they wanted one anyway), so ended up using buses - so easy and got us everywhere we wanted to go. Would recommend getting a taxi to Sarafinko at 8am to avoid the crowds (basically had the place to ourselves) then catch first bus out of there (about 10:20am) - starts to get very hot and busy. Overall, Adamas was wonderful!

The town of Kos is too touristic, many young foreigners who want to party. Some bad taste boat rides being offered at the port and lots of touristic fast food. If you are looking for authentic Greek island life Kos is not the choice! Therrest of the island offers some nice beaches, sandy with clear water. There are interesting archeological sites like Askleipio.

It's very touristy and pricier than the other islands we visited.
Having travelled from Paros and Naxos the weeks prior- ending the trip in Oia didn't feel overly relaxing. That said, the views are spectacular and I don't regret going. The two nights we stayed there was enough for our family.
