"It is a small town at the sea coast of Montenegro with lots of touristic facilities. You can get around Budva easily, see the castle and beaches, and have a gastronomic tour in the town. It is my second time in the town and I highly recommend to visit. You should try Jadran restaurant and eat grilled octopus absolutely. You can come to Budva by drive or bus or private taxi from near cities in Montenegro or Crotia."

"The owner of the property was incredible. She was so nice and hospitable. She gave us great recommendations for places to eat. She offered beach towels and even an umbrella we could use while we were there. The breakfast that is included is at a nearby cafe and was delicious. The view from the patio is breathtaking and the beach is a 10 minute walk, it is stairs though and that was a little tiring, but worth it. The beach is the most beautiful beach I have ever been to. I would definitely stay here again."

Liliana, Yelena and all the staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. Liliana and Yelena spoke English very well, which was helpful since I don't know any Montenegrin. Liliana even offered to print up a few things for me- a prescription and a bus ticket. I loved the breakfast, especially the roasted vegetables. The property is exceptionally clean, beautiful and comfortable. Family run and owned.

Exellent location! No, not exellent - it's perfect :) Close to the sea and to the most famous restaurants in Budva. If you choose to stay here - you will miss nothing :) Very good personal. I fell in love with the girl from reception (unfortunately she didn't know anything about it) :) First time I faced that the room is being cleaned twice a day :))) Great thanks and all the best wishes to the personal who do the room service!!!!

We initially chose this hotel for its great location, but what will truly bring us back is the impeccable service and thoughtful attention to every detail. The rooms were beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable(especially bed), and clean. We especially enjoyed starting our mornings with a delicious breakfast on the terrace. The warm hospitality of the staff (especially the owner of the hotel) made our stay feel truly memorable. Thank you 🤍

We loved our time at Hotel Adrovic. After reading some of the reviews, I was a bit apprehensive about what to expect but it was fantastic! A fabulous location for exploring Sveti Stefan. The room was clean and spacious with a gorgeous view. Definitely worth asking for a sea view and higher level to make the most of the view there. As per other reviews, it’s not modern but it has a lovely traditional feel in keeping with Sveti Stefan. The walk to the beach isn’t for the faint hearted with all the steps but our two children (8 and 10) managed perfectly fine with a few trips up and down each day. The hotel were so helpful with a later checkout so we could enjoy the beach right up until we had to leave. I’d definitely recommend the hotel if you want to visit Sveti Stefan!

I had an amazing experience staying at the hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful with every request. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The location is excellent – close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transportation, yet quiet and peaceful at night. Breakfast was fresh and varied every day, with something for everyone. What made the stay special was the personal touch and attention to detail from the hotel team. They made me feel at home and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area. THE BEST HOTEL IN BUDVA!!

We were a group of 13, split into 4 double rooms + 5 at the presidential suite. The double rooms were very comfortable, well designed and maintained. The presidential suite was amazing! Our kids enjoyed it immensely, it’s a beautifully decorated and well equipped apartment with jacuzzi facing the sea. Breakfast was very good, especially the bureks. We also had dinners at the hotel’s restaurant - very good food (especially relative to the north of Montenegro…), excellent service and great atmosphere. The hotel has its own private beach attached to it, water are perfect and Petrovac is a very nice village

We had a wonderful stay at hotel Palas. We arrived before check-in with our baby, and the staff made us feel welcome from the very beginning. A kind lady from the bar near reception even brought us croissants from the kitchen after noticing we had missed breakfast. Everyone was friendly, professional, and helpful—from the reception team and the chef who prepared food for our baby to the restaurant staff, housekeeping, and porter. The hotel has a great location, beautiful terraces, and lovely areas for walking and relaxing. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Hotel Aleksandar's location is excellent. The staff was friendly. The rooms were comfortable. Wifi worked well for me. Easy to get to the beach from hotel but it is a public beach so you do have to pay for the chairs. Breakfast was satisfying. A lot of options. Nice restaurants in the area. There are clubs outside the hotel so it does get noisy but honestly didn't bother me at all. Hotel has so much potential but owners don't do much to spruce it up. A nice paint job would go a long way. Our stay was comfortable. It wasn't as bad as the reviews make it seem.

We had an amazing stay! We booked two rooms for one night and were pleasantly surprised to receive a free upgrade to two luxurious suites. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. Everything was super clean and well maintained. There’s convenient parking available (for an additional fee). The staff was absolutely wonderful – especially Marina and Jelena, who were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and Djordje, who gave us great recommendations and helped us plan our route around the area. Highly recommended!

Great hotel with a great location. The stuff was amazing and the value of money is very high. The breakfast is just fine, you get what you need with extra nice crepes, vegetables , baked goods and other nice things to open the morning with. The coffee was perfect. Also, the hotel’s reasturant was excellent , very stylish with excellent service , coffee and food. Once again, the service was really good and welcoming. I will come back for sure. Budva’s Old Town is beautiful, and it’s a pleasure to walk around its charming streets. The beaches are clean and very enjoyable. Compared to Kotor, the two towns have a similar atmosphere. However, if I were planning the trip again, I might choose to stay in Kotor, as close to the Old Town as possible—or even inside it—for a more unique and memorable experience.

During our stay, we only met two people we could actually communicate with in English. Overall, the locals seemed rather unfriendly toward foreigners. If you asked someone a question in English, they would confidently reply in Serbian. And if you didn't understand, they would simply repeat the same thing... only louder. 😊 Almost every coastal town has a beautiful historic or waterfront area, but beyond that small section, much of the town feels neglected, dirty, and full of litter. Nearly everywhere you look, there are one or two massive unfinished hotel structures that appear to have been abandoned since around 2008, many now covered in graffiti.

Beautiful small town with some of the most beautiful views I have seen of the Adriatic. I have spent countless summers on the Dalmation Coast and islands surrounding Croatia - Sveti Stefan is on par if not superior in views. There are multiple small shops that are open from 0700-2300 Mon - Sat (all shops apart from one small corner shop will be closed on Sundays). Medusa Beach is excellent along with their hospitable staff. The food is reasonably priced and delicious. The Western beached from Sveti Stefan are private which is not something I moraly agree with as I don't belive experinecing nature should have a pricetag. The sunbeds on these beach are priced at over 200 Euros. Medusa beach offers a far more appealing pricetag of 30 to 50 Euros for 2 suneds and an umbrella, depending on which row you are sat on. Hotel California is a must visit for dinner around sunset - the views are second to none and the food is top tier. In summary, Sveti Stefan is an excellent stay for couples and famileis alike.

The little haven of an authentic garden, less than 5 minutes from a bustling seaside promenade and beach. Shade to be found all day, place to eat takeout, make yourself a cuppa, or chill with wine you’ve kept in fridge. The sincere hosts: friendly, helpful, available, but living next door so not ever-present. Glad we stayed here and at Rafailovici rather than Boudva - beach options better. ‘Rafailovici tourist office’ is good destination to give taxi on arrival as after that, take narrow street down on right and half way down you’re there. Without luggage the buses back and forth are convenient for Budva. Note Summer 2025 - roadworks between Budva (&Kotor) a nightmare ongoing road building possibly a year - this means significantly higher bus travel time /taxi quotes from airport (Around €60 for 50 min journey although also got €80 quoted). Key jiggling for room 2 a bit of a challenge but otherwise everything spotlessly clean, simple, and comfortable beds.

It is very beautiful and too much touristic. all the local shops are focused on tourism. there is very limited piece of history promoted. mostly bars, restaurants etc. the place is clifty with very norrow streets, a lot of traffic - a lot - with limited parking places. this can be problem during summer period. We visited Kotor one day and can state that the old town is somehow in better shape (bigger with more options) thatn the Budva. MonteNegro is recently promoted through the social media as one of the best vacation destination as it is easy to go and very cheap. This is misleading. IT IS NOT CHEAP. when the sunbed costs MINIMUM 20€, this is not called a cheap destination. Of course you may find in a forgotten village some restaurant offering a plate of food for 5€. You can FIND EVERYWHERE in the WORLD a forgotten village offering cheap food. This is not pribilege of Monte Negro. we were eating with 20-40€ per person every meal in Budva, Kotor, etc. Beach facilities are very expensinve. Compared to the expensive destination in Greece. Sunbed first row 50€ and other rediculous staff like this. on the other hand the nature is very nice and if you don't go for swimming or not eating in restaurants, can be a nice choice. Worst experience of the trip, thr Alpine Coaster. 4 hours waiting under the sun, and we finally didn't manage to do the ride. Management of the coaster was unacceptable.

Petrovac is a convenient base for exploring the Montenegrin coast by car, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and services. However, during our stay, the town was very crowded, with large families and children, making it quite noisy. The main beaches were packed, with most of the space occupied by rented sunbeds and umbrellas, leaving very little room for visitors who simply wanted to put down a towel. We also found the beaches dirty and disorganized. If you are looking for a quieter experience with more natural beaches and fewer crowds, you may prefer staying elsewhere or using Petrovac only as a base to explore other beaches along the coast.
