I have never eaten better food in a hotel ever before. Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet, all were incredible. The room was exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff is friendly. I have no complaints.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The nature around is absolutely stunning – peaceful, green, and perfect for relaxing and recharging. The house itself is fantastic, very well maintained, and equipped with more than everything you could possibly need. What truly stands out is the attention to detail – you can clearly feel that the host has created this place with care and love. Everything is thoughtfully arranged to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. Highly recommended – we would definitely come back!

Kostanjevica na Krki and B and B Castanea are gems of Slovenia. The island village is idyllic, Castanea is spotlessly beautiful situated in a very old building; and the nearby museum specializing in Slovenian artists is a treasure that must be visited. Castanea’s hosts are kind, generous, knowledgeable, and helpful. These are all reasons I’ve visited 3 times while bike touring.

Place was cozy and we were surprised how many people would actually fit! We were there in February, so the heating worked very well and the house itself was not too far away from the actual pools. Kitchen was well equiped too.

An extraordinary place.

An extraordinary place. The village is partly located on an island, the streets and houses have retained their authentic appearance. It's as if you've entered a completely different world. All recommendations. You must visit the Bozidar Jakac Gallery. An exceptional museum in a renovated monastery, located in beautiful nature. Also, if you come in summer, you can swim in the Krka river.

Beautiful nature, clean river, lovely restaurants. We loved Tochka Beach Bar right at the river (good cocktails!) and Mosticek Grill. We visited the Termen Catez aquapark which was pretty expensive but nice.

How would you feel if you had to pay 100 euros, but due to navigation issues, your travel plans got disrupted, you ended up arriving late, and were unable to access your room, forcing you to spend the night in your car? Well, fortunately, that didn't happen to us because the place we booked had anticipated such unfortunate events! We were unsure about what to expect until the very end, but when we finally gained access to our rooms, four hours later, we felt incredibly fortunate. The communication we had with the booking staff was efficient, timely, and friendly. They were quick to respond to our inquiries and made us feel reassured throughout the process. Additionally, the breakfast provided was exceptional, exceeding our expectations. We highly recommend visiting this place not only for the comfortable rooms but also for the various other outstanding features it offers. Overall, Great experience!

Kids always have a great fun in Catezke toplice but they hope they will soon reduce the price of ice cream and have less lines on the slides. Kids really enjoyed competitions in the swimming pools the place is organizing.
