My husband and I went to Haifa for a Baha’i pilgrimage. The location of the hotel was ideal with great restaurants nearby. The complimentary breakfast at the hotel was varied and delicious. There is a wonderful rooftop space to relax with tea and view the city. Especially nice at night. The staff members were all so helpful and efficient. It’s a great value and I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

Since Haifa is a - relativley - big city it has a great public transport sysytem loads of attractions, walks, museums, trails, parks, beaches religious places and more. always worth googling and asking chat for ideas according to what you like to do - that's what we did - but there is a lot to do.

gorgeous! clean, quaint and everything in working order. 2 small things id like to add. The price feels a little high for a property with only one bathroom but we decided to take it anyway. The listing should make it clearer that access to the third bedroom is through one of the other bedrooms. As a result, the occupants of that bedroom do not have complete privacy, since it effectively serves as a corridor.

Host was very friendly. Loation is good. Would not have taken much of an effort on the part of the host to make this property look good. The only uncurable issue is that there is no dining room. Property needs painting and detailing. Arttwork hung on the wall was awful. A nice paint job with no artwork would be helpful. Property has no closets or furniture in bedrooms, not even a hook to hang anything on or a shelf to set something on. Bathrooms are worse. No hooks to hang a towel or a robe on and no shelf for a hair dryer, brush or pills or anything on. No shelf in shower for shampoo, cream rinse, razor, soap or body wash. Mirror in first floor bathroom is too small and is hung in a primitive fashion on a braided rope. First floor shower was nasty with mold in the grout, black mold on the floor and black mold on the door frame. Gate from parking to property needs a nice latch. Oven lacked a control knob so it was useless. Large closets in hallways that we needed for our luggage were loaded with junk piled high that was stored there by host. The host ovrchargess for this property and could at least fix up what he has so it works better for lodgers. Unless the host improves this property, next time I would avoid this rental unit! As it sits, it is not a good value for the rate charged.

Awesome location, close to the beach. Amazing terrace with sea view. Overused, dirty kitchen appliances, one bathroom had a very small shower with water pouring outside and staying on the floor. The other bathroom had a tub with no curtain. Bedrooms are ok. Old bed linen. Dirty windows.

I loved visiting the center of the village, the old part. It is a chance to visit with a different culture beyond the couple of hours that one usually takes for it. My favorite part was discovering the local bakeries.

Haifa is a multi-cultural city with unique topography; from mountain to sea, the views are breathtaking and inspiring. Haifa has many historical and religious landmarks, from the famous Bahai gardens to Stella Maris Monastery, from the Marine Museum to the Train Museum featuring the naval and transportation history of Haifa and Israel, to the newly emerging vibes of Talpiypot Market, the Haifa Port and the Flea Market and its vicinity. It is no wonder that Haifa's twin sister in San Francisco.

There is a lot of history in Zichron Ya'akov as it was one...

There is a lot of history in Zichron Ya'akov as it was one of the first settlements way back in the 1880s, before Israel was even a state. The town center is fascinating with 2 museums, good restaurants, lots of shops and coffee houses. Several wineries nearby. Tishbi Wines have a lovely restaurant very near Cozy Cabin. The only downside to Zichron Ya'akov is parking - wow its hard to find parking. At least, on the street where Cozy Cabin is, it's usually not too big a problem. The town sits atop a high hill and the views are fantastic. Outside of the town there are many places to go and things to do. The beach is not far away, Carmel Caves are a must, Daliat el Carmel is a druze village 20 km away. Of course don't miss visiting the Antiquities at Caesarea.

The beaches/ nature park are great.

The beaches/ nature park are great. The highway is easily accessible, so you can quickly visit many other interesting places. It is not touristy which makes you really get the Israel feeling of being among the people.

I would recommend to go to Mount Carmel, Baháʼí Garden...

I would recommend to go to Mount Carmel, Baháʼí Garden before 12 to visit the shrine. You can go to nice sandy beaches all along the coast and visit some museums. There is a very good and cheap public transport network (trains, buses, tramways) which brings you wherever you want. No need for taxis. You can enjoy a delicious meal at one of the many restaurants along Sderot Ben Gurion Street. You can go to the beach, visit many interesting cultural sites and go to many places in total safety.

Zikhron Yaakov is one of Israel's most well adapted cities to tourism. It has a lovely central street with all the shops and bars and restaurants with plenty parking space in the vicinity. It has many great places to visit and activities to engage in in its direct vicinity
