A stay at Nature Dream Catcher Plantation Resort is a "must" to any who wants to explore nature or to experience the wilderness of Munnar. Located amidst a tea plantation and wilderness, Dream Catcher Plantation Resort expands to an area of 24 acres. On reaching the resort, we were received with warmth and were offered welcome drinks. They also briefed about the compound and elaborated on the activities we could engage with. The resort offers super clean and fully furnished rooms, Cottages and tree houses, with attached bathroom. As we were two families, we opted for one Cottage and one tree house. We had a unique stay at our respective cottage and tree house, The resort also has 1. Awesome swimming pool 2. Restaurant offering mouthwatering native delicacies and continental dishes (must try) 3. Children’s park which our children found quite enjoyable and a superb watch tower. 4. The resort also offers a package where we can explore Kulukkumalai and other trekking areas and sightseeing places rather than the usual sightseeing places 5. Amazing campfire experience A Special thanks to Manager to Mr. Manoj for properly coordinating our two days package. Would like to come to Dream Catcher once again for a long stay. Once again wishing the Team Dream Catcher & Team a great success

Everything is excellent and there was a person called Venkataramana in the kictchen sector where he helped with serving food and he actually made us to enjoy the food. He’s is nice and calm. And the hotel manager Dinesh is nice he made everything for us to enjoy the stay. And and finally all the staff were good and excellent.

We enjoyed visits to all attractions along the Mattupetty...

We enjoyed visits to all attractions along the Mattupetty Dam Route, Madurai Route, Kochi Route and Erivakulam National Park. On the cultural side, we visited the Kathakali Dance Shows in Punarjani Traditional Village and Kalari Kshetra. We relished Idli, Ghee Dosai and Chapathi at Hotel Saravana Bhavan (Pure Veg) beside Saravana Spices Shop. Getting around Munnar is easy when compared with big cities. We could not enjoy a boat ride at Kundala Lake and Sengulam Dam due to heavy rush of tourists. The lake at the echo point was totally dry. That apart, getting drenched and watching the tourists taking a boat ride in the rain, photographing the Nilgiri Tahr at Erivakulam National Park, visit to tea plantations.....these were some of our memorable experiences at Munnar.

Easy to get around by tuk tuk.

Easy to get around by tuk tuk. Much less busy than neighbouring Munnar, so there was much less going on which we wanted for the jungle. Are some of the best food of my life in Prakrithi restaurant.

Chinnakanal is least crowded part of Munnar which you can visit even in holidays. U can explore gap road, poopara, bodimett, kolukkumalai, Chathurangappara from here with ease.Taj restaurant at poopara ( not the original luxury brand ) offers food at low prices compared to the costly meals at resorts

Liked that it was around munnar, cheaper stays and within travelling distance to main city if you had own vehicles. Disliked the humidity and heat you feel in the mornings and afternoons, not a hill station like munnar. And if you r travelling by public transport it is hard to go sightseeing as all the scenic spots are 20-30 km from Anaviratty.

Place was good whereas heavily crowded due to holidays, all site seeing places took more waiting time Especially onward journey through Pollachi Udumalpet route is hectic, road is too small not recommended to go by big vehicles. To cross 25 KM took 5 hours 😔

We experienced cold and rainy weather most of the time. Hiking is beautiful but leeches are a BIG problem in the rainy season. Tea plantation s are everywhere and a re gorgeous but i didn't love the tea itself. All in all its a good location for nature and serenity lovers.

The homestay is surrounded by lush greenery, and in the morning, you can hear birds chirping. Taking a fresh bath in the natural small waterfall near the property was wonderful. The rooms were neat, and the toilets were big and clean. The host was excellent and very helpful. He assisted us in planning our itinerary and suggested good drivers (auto/taxi) for sightseeing. The breakfast served was typical Kerala style, very tasty and mouthwatering. I definitely recommend everyone to try this homestay.

the dam, national park , elephant ride , falls , glass bridge , botanical garden were all beautiful. The problem with traffic jam . Even after 10 years ( first visit 2016) , town seems to same and expansion of roads still under way

Although reaching the resort was not particularly exciting , we quite liked the place once we got there. There are not enough signboards to take us to the resort from the main road. Fortunately we got the caretaker of the resort on the phone who gave us directions. If by any chance his phone was unavailable that would have meant the end of our holiday !! It is a clean place with reasonable facilities. Staff were more than ready to help us even though some of them looked a bit glum. Food was mediocre, a bit too spicy though. Would have been good if cloth slippers were provided considering that the floors were cold. Also a shame that there was no Wifi. Despite this I may decide on going there again as our family of 6 + 2 kids had a great time. There's a stream within the property which was really nice. Wish there was no litter lying around ( I know it is difficult as the property is huge). Don't miss the trek through the cardamom plantations !!
