The breakfast is one of the best among all the hotels we stayed in Iceland. The staff went out of their way to serve you. I left my notebook computer charger in the hotel. I had to leave on cruise the next day. They found it and sent it to Fosshotel Reykajvik so that I can pick it up after my cruise and on my way to London.

We had an amazing stay at this place! The houses are beautifully designed with high quality materials and are perfectly heated, making them super cozy and comfortable. The surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning! The host was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home and the breakfast was simply delicious. The road to get there isn’t the easiest, but it’s absolutely worth it once you arrive. Plus, the sky is dark enough to see the northern lights and we were lucky enough to witness them - an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and high-quality stay.

The old part of Borgarnes is fun to tour through and the waterfront area has a great walk (weather permitting). The old museum was fun with a really interesting folk tale on one level and artifacts on the lower level. There is also an old coffee and sweets shop to visit not too far up the hill from the museum. This is a great town to stay in if you are going up to the National Park.

Since a lot of travellers come to Europe and Scandinavian country, the hotel industry should adapt to installing comode shower to cater to all types of tourist. Hellnar is the perfect location, close to all the major attractions on the peninsula and an ideal place to spend the night while soaking in the beauty of the landscape. There’s a charming little café just a few minutes from the Peninsula Suites that serves the best waffles with jam and whipped cream, an Icelandic classic. The views are truly out of this world, we’ve never seen anything like it. Cliffs, ocean, glacier, and moss all come together in the most breathtaking way. It’s an absolute must on your trip!
