Very personalized staff, rooms over looking endless landscaped gardens with Peacocks, Warthogs, Zebra's, Impalas, Eland's and list goes on. The Rothschild Giraffe's were a special treat and the horse ride among them was the Cherry on the cake!

The hostwas also very professional in their communication and granted us a short extension on the check-out time.

Rhino Watch Safari Lodge is an absolutely gorgeous facility with beautiful gardens that are perfectly maintained. Three property goes up a hill and we were on the top row in a chalet. This is essentially a small house with a veranda and a private garden. The most amazing thing was the perfect view of Mount Kenya, which is odd course called the shy mountain for good reason.
We were there in February for 4 nights and we could get a clear view early in the morning.
We didn't book full room and board, only with breakfast since we were exploring locally with our expert guide, Charles Mathenge. Charles was recommended by Rhino Watch and we used him for a long Safari. He is a naturalist by training and knows all the parks, animals, and plants by heart.
Aberdares NP is close to the property and has a totally different climate from the plains - well worth it for gorgeous scenery, wild pigs and endangered monkeys.
Rhino Watch is locally owned and the owners are very active with their own foundation to help the local community.

I love the location; right in the middle of everything in Nyeri Town; making evening walks pure bliss since I can easily get back to the hotel. The parking (especially adjacent to the reception/ rooms) is spacious, offering an amazing view of the extensive greenery that surrounds the rest of Nyeri.
The extra blanket and the water heating jug (plus complementary tea/coffee) were an absolute lifesaver (given how chilly it could get at night in July).
Friendly and helpful staffs, swift check-in and check-out, spacious room with a fantastic view... sleeping here was great.
Conference Facilities: I have used White Rhino's conference packages before, and they have executive halls, and their dining experience is awesome.

Calm environment .The farm was fun we did a lot of activities including feeding animals and chickens picking eggs and fishing.Factory tour.We bought long life milk vegetables yogurt, cheese, and the whole got .Our trip and stay was amazing.

The cottage room was of a very decent size.
The cottage room was of a very decent size. Bedding and other accessories were of good standard.
Spotted Zebra's, warthog, baboons, antelope, deer, peacocks, and very colorful sparrows.
Dine hall was nice and food was fantastic will lot's of variety.
It was a nice drive from Nairobi to Aberdare Country club.

I had a wonderful stay at this property.
I had a wonderful stay at this property. The indoor parking is excellent, and the house amenities are well thought out — making it an ideal place for a family. The internet connection is fast and reliable, and the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. With the curtains drawn, the rooms are perfectly dark, ensuring restful sleep. The hot showers are consistent, and the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. Additionally, there’s a charming café just around the corner and a barbecue spot conveniently located across the road. I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for comfort and convenience.

Othaya House is a lovely and cosy place, conveniently located right by the road with ample parking. The space is comfortable and well set up, and the connectivity was excellent throughout my stay. On weekdays, there’s a café in the same building, which makes meals easily accessible. One challenge was that the Google Maps directions were a bit confusing, which made it hard to find at first, but once there, everything else was smooth and enjoyable.

The space was very clean and pretty much everything in place (I liked that they had an iron box) The WiFi works well. Netflix connected. A book shelf with books for entertainment reading. Adequate beddings for nights that can get a bit cold. Toilet/ shower very clean. Amazing Small balcony with river view and sounds! A kitchen with everything, including foods like rice! ( didn't cook, but noted).
On the few negatives, the collection and hand-in process for the key and main door management can improve. On my third stay, there was no soap in the bathroom. The clothes line is at the balcony, and obstructs the river view when there are clothes hung ( has happened on two of my stays).
Overall excellent place.
