This allows you to reach bad ragaz without a car and to move by public transport or on foot in the city center. I dined at the restaurant verve by Sven at the grand hotel in Bad Ragaz. Excellent restaurant with impeccable service. Had a pleasant and relaxing weekend. Definitely to be repeated."

We had a really great stay at this hotel. Honestly, one of the best in a long time. The staff is absolutely outstanding: attentive, super friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. Great location in Appenzell. Short walk to shops and train station. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We used the sauna after a day of hiking in the rain. Just what we needed! They stored our luggage overnight while we hiked to Aescher to stay one night.

We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom (no discomfort at all). The room was large, clean. The bed linen and pillows were very nice and comfortable, I slept well. Sauna was ok. There is a small pool but we did use it. Location is great.

I was exploring Switzerland with my friends, but I got separated and chose to come and visit here. This town was cozy and nice with very relaxing atmosphere. I was terribly amazed by Rhine fall where we can get very close to the water falling points by the boat and even from the walk path(down to the edge). Very luckily I could sit on the head side of the boat and could take some pictures although I got splashed. On this summer day, my clothes got dried very quickly while I was having my sandwich after the boat ride. As for the boat ride's ticket, I was lucky that the previous boat schedule was full and I took the second one. It was less people, so the passengers could change the seat according to the views that we wanted to enjoy. It was 30 minutes boat ride. There were 15 minutes boat ride and even 75 minutes boat ride.

St Gallen is a great city to visit with the wonderful Abbey, Cathedral and Library. There are a lot of lovely shops, cafes and restaurants in the old town and beautiful old buildings. You can go up into the hills either side. On one side you can visit the Wild Park with goats, deer, wild pigs and trails through the woods. On the other side you can go up to the three ponds, to swim, play sports or relax. There are also lovely parks in the old town, museums and other attractions.

Liechtenstein is beautiful, clean, and easy to navigate.

Liechtenstein is beautiful, clean, and easy to navigate. I had a rental car and thoroughly enjoyed the "road trip" of exploring the area. I only stayed one night but would have happily stayed another day or two to do some hiking and explore the area more.

The village is a small private housing area with schools and a bus service, but if you expect a vibrant city, that's not the case. For my short visit I didn't have time for any programs in the city. The picture is taken one hour before midnight, it looks very peaceful and that's true, indeed

Nature is stunning - staff very friendly and helpful and the accommodation is clean and comfortable. I can recommend Bad Ragaz with a warm heart to anybody who likes nature - a bit of time to relax and get spoiled with the good things in life i.e. a nice massage and good food.

Its too late to come to Malbun for cross country skiing at the beginning of March. We were hopeful for some snow still but all was gone already and unlike in some Swiss resorts there is no snow farming in Malbun/Steg.

We spent two nights here. The shops seemed to be more expensive than in Germany. Travel on trains also more expensive. We got Bodensee cards for travel in Germany. However it is a pretty area and felt very safe walking around at night.

It's a quaint and historic village on the Rhine river.

It's a quaint and historic village on the Rhine river. Great restaurants and coffee shop places. Good shopping. Little kids train is sometimes running and a great outdoor playground with lots of wooden climbing features. Their festivals are fantastic.

Rapperswil-Jona is an absolutely beautifully pretty little historical town with everything you need. It has an abundance of restaurants of all types, some in tiny little cobbled back streets and many overlooking the lake. The best thing we found during our stay was the superb lake swimming area. There are purpose built changing rooms, life guards, a café, sun-decks, showers and a large protected area of the lake for swimming, plus a couple of floating deck-islands if you fancy a bit of on water relaxing. We swam every morning before breakfast, which was fabulous and really a pleasure once you got in the water. You can walk to the swimming area up through the castle.
