"Siauliai might be a bit overlooked as many would pick Vilnius, Kaunas and the seaside, but it has it's charm and lots of places to visit. The outskirts of Siauliai is green, there are plenty of forests, lakes and other lovely nature places to visit. Few tips; walk Siauliai boulevard, there are some cosy coffee shops to stop and have a slice of cake. There are soem sculptures and fountains to take pictures. Walk to the beautiful St. Apostles of Peter and Paul Cathedral and from there go to the sculpture of golden boy and the lake. A half day trip to Hill of the crosses. Trully special place!"

LithuaniaI was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this property. The food was outstanding, even better than what I’ve had in many 4 and 5-star hotels in Western Europe. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I didn’t expect such a high-quality experience in a remote city, but this place exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended, will definetely visit again!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The property itself has many activities, so the weekend at this place was memorable and very enjoyable. The place itself is filled with historical decorative items so it truly takes you back to the days when the Manor was built. Definitely recommend to also book a guided tour at the Manor and visit the tiny shops! Also, our windows faced directly the lake and manor. Great value for the money

Šiauliai left a very pleasant and peaceful impression.
Šiauliai left a very pleasant and peaceful impression. The city is cosy, clean, and not overcrowded with tourists, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the local atmosphere. We especially enjoyed walking around the centre and along the pedestrian streets.
A special highlight is the famous Hill of Crosses — a striking and unique place that leaves a strong impression. The city is perfect for a short trip: it doesn’t have the hustle and bustle of a big city, but it offers everything needed for a comfortable stay.

I grew up here and I had a chance to show my partner around.
I grew up here and I had a chance to show my partner around. A lot of changes.
We visited cemento gamykla, hill that is close to it , couple food shops and a church.
Its easy to get around here but people will stare at you if you talk different language which I found it annoying.
Church is stunning as always.

The place itself is little bit distant from biggest cities...
The place itself is little bit distant from biggest cities of Lithuania, but the nature and generally landscape, it's worth to see. It's next to Latvian border, so in less than one hour you can visit Latvia, also there is very beautiful and historic little town of Zagare, which I definitely recommend to see for Jewish history lovers, and generally speaking northern part of Lithuania It's a diamond 💎 literary diamond, which need to be seen.

You should visit Šiauliai.
You should visit Šiauliai. Interesting city with nice museum: Photography Museum, Cat Museum and Chocolate Museum. And more. Lake, pedestrian avenue and church with the tallest tower of Lithuania. Highly recommend a visit to the Hill of crosses (by bus or by car, twenty minutes).

An interesting place. Hill of Crosses was great. There's a few museums worth a look. We just didn't have enough time. Some are closed on Mondays, whch seems to be a common thing in the Baltics. There are sme interesting thungs to eat too. An Uzbek restaurant was new to us. Worth a try.
