A lifetime experience! We had so much fun discovering the beauty of Merzouga Desert, thanks to Hassan's kindness and hospitality. The tents were clean and warm by night, despite the cold weather. We had the opportunity to contemplate the astonishing sunset over the dunes, and sunrise over the mountains.

We stayed in a beautiful and comfortable desert tent among the sand dunes. The tent was clean and well equippedd with a private bathroom and hot water. The evening atmosphere was wonderful, with a delicious dinner and traditional music under a sky full of stars. We also enjoyed many activities such as a camel ride to watch the sunset and a quad ride across the dunes, which was a fun and exciting experience. The staff were friendly and helpful and assisted us in organizing all the activities. It was an unforgettable stay, and we highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the desert and enjoy its natural beautyy

The food was amazing ! Staff was amazing ! Abraham took such great care of us. One person in our group had their birthday during our stay and Abraham arranged a party with cake, live music, dancing and a lot of fun in the desert camp! We also did the jeep tour and would highly recommend doing that! We will recommend this place to everyone! Can’t wait to be back.

For the most part, the two nights we spent there were fantastic, and we heartily recommend it. When it came time for us to pick up our rental car, we were given excellent directions. It was all so easy and peaceful. both at the time of pickup and drop-off. We had the best time during our stay! The berber pizza, the constellations and Milky Way, the food, the staff, the quad ride, the sandboards, the tents, and the planned day trip! How delighted we are with the journey to Merzouga and our stay here is expressed again and again. Excellently advised! I'm so very grateful.

Comfortable hotel next to the sand dunes with the amazing view from terrace. We really enjoyed our stay there. It was very quite and cozy. Food was tasty and the staff was very helpful! We ordered the 4D tour and the camel ride. We were also able to join the evening Berber music show in the nearby hotel camp. It was a great weekend!

We booked one night and we feel Happy comfortable,we stay one more night The camp was at a great spot in the desert; you could ride camels or drive a 4x4 to get to the tents. We suggest staying for two nights because the breakfast and dinner were excellent. Mohammed was really helpful in setting up a private camel ride for us to the oasis along with a small picnic. The location was great; it was serene and surrounded by friendly people. Everything we needed was in our tent. We had a great time dancing and laughing during the nighttime concert beside the fireplace. Our two days there were very unforgettable. I recommended to my friends

The food is fantastic, and they happily cater to any dietary needs. Don't miss the camel sunset experience—it's a must-do! Everything was fantastic abd we would certainly return to this place! We were upgraded to a suite with terrace from which you could see the internal courtyard, the dunes and the sunrise. It was particularly spacious. We had dinner at the property both nights and we found it very good (Morrocan with an international twist) - in addition, the place looked lovely at dinner times and they played traditional music in the background which added to the nice ambience. Staff were friendly and kind. The breakfast was also very nice.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location right on the edge of the dunes. You can even rent an ATV at the front desk and they'll give you a ride down the street to get it. Hasan, Said, Mohamed, and the entire staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Also, the food was ridiculously good. They made me vegetarian meals that were seriously better than anything I've ever had at the most expensive and hip restaurants in the USA.

We stayed at Hassilabiad as a desert recovery day and really enjoyed our stay. The room was massive for our family of five with two (!) full bathrooms and a washing machine. The pool was ice cold but very refreshing from the hot sun. Walk through the palms to massive dunes took under 15 minutes. The staff were all very friendly and delightful. Highly recommend in Merzouga.

Choosing a camp is so hard and I hesitated so long, but you don't go wrong with this one. Transport is included, so is dinner and breakfast. You can walk up to the big dunes, also still in the morning. Having a bathroom in a tent is such luxury.

Driving to Merzouga is a long journey, but Auberge Les Roches makes every kilometer worthwhile. The property is peaceful, surrounded by spectacular desert landscapes, and offers everything you need to relax after a day of adventure. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool during the hot afternoons and the quiet evenings under a sky full of stars. This was one of the most memorable accommodations we've ever experienced.

A great close to the airport stay- clean, modern, friendly, with everything we could want . Our room was a nice size and the bed comfy. Sitting around the nice pool having a beer and a glass of wine was fantastic.

Erfoud is famous for dates and location to the desert, other than that there is very little to do there at all. You will have to travel to Merzouga for camel rides, desert buggy, fwd tours and atv tours which is about 45 kms away.

Take the time to explore this and the surrounding oases by car, local transport, or better still, on foot, and you will be rewarded. There is a local nearby (south 10km) at Aoufous on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Women wear distinctive black cloaks with bright embroidery. The local associations will sell you dates, date syrup (a winner!), herbal teas, and even 'coffee' made of date pits (not my thing).

During our month-long journey through North Africa, Auberge Les Roches Merzouga stood out as one of the finest places we stayed. The combination of breathtaking scenery, attentive service, authentic cuisine, and well-organized desert activities made this an unforgettable destination. It was the perfect place for us to meet and get some rest the night before heading to Merzouga! Hassan is a lovely person and was super helpful in getting to and from his home. His home is extremely clean and spacious. Hassan was a great host! I would highly recommend his home.

Auberge Les Roches Merzouga is truly a hidden gem that deserves every positive review it receives. The property is beautifully designed, combining traditional Moroccan architecture with modern comfort. The peaceful atmosphere, exceptional cleanliness, delicious food, and outstanding service created the perfect environment for our stay. We particularly enjoyed spending the evenings on the terrace, watching the stars over the Sahara while sipping Moroccan tea. It was an experience we'll treasure forever.
