A lifetime experience! We had so much fun discovering the beauty of Merzouga Desert, thanks to Hassan's kindness and hospitality. The tents were clean and warm by night, despite the cold weather. We stayed in a beautiful and comfortable desert tent among the sand dunes. The tent was clean and well equippedd with a private bathroom and hot water. The evening atmosphere was wonderful, with a delicious dinner and traditional music under a sky full of stars. We also enjoyed many activities such as a camel ride to watch the sunset and a quad ride across the dunes, which was a fun and exciting experience. The staff were friendly and helpful and assisted us in organizing all the activities. It was an unforgettable stay, and we highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the desert and enjoy its natural beautyy

The food was amazing ! Staff was amazing ! Abraham took such great care of us. One person in our group had their birthday during our stay and Abraham arranged a party with cake, live music, dancing and a lot of fun in the desert camp! We also did the jeep tour and would highly recommend doing that! We will recommend this place to everyone! Can’t wait to be back.

For the most part, the two nights we spent there were fantastic, and we heartily recommend it. When it came time for us to pick up our rental car, we were given excellent directions. It was all so easy and peaceful. both at the time of pickup and drop-off. We had the best time during our stay! The berber pizza, the constellations and Milky Way, the food, the staff, the quad ride, the sandboards, the tents, and the planned day trip! How delighted we are with the journey to Merzouga and our stay here is expressed again and again. Excellently advised! I'm so very grateful.

Comfortable hotel next to the sand dunes with the amazing view from terrace. We really enjoyed our stay there. It was very quite and cozy. Food was tasty and the staff was very helpful! We ordered the 4D tour and the camel ride. We were also able to join the evening Berber music show in the nearby hotel camp. It was a great weekend!

We booked one night and we feel Happy comfortable,we stay one more night The camp was at a great spot in the desert; you could ride camels or drive a 4x4 to get to the tents. We suggest staying for two nights because the breakfast and dinner were excellent. Mohammed was really helpful in setting up a private camel ride for us to the oasis along with a small picnic. The location was great; it was serene and surrounded by friendly people. Everything we needed was in our tent. We had a great time dancing and laughing during the nighttime concert beside the fireplace. Our two days there were very unforgettable. I recommended to my friends

Everything was fantastic abd we would certainly return to this place! We were upgraded to a suite with terrace from which you could see the internal courtyard, the dunes and the sunrise. It was particularly spacious. We had dinner at the property both nights and we found it very good (Morrocan with an international twist) - in addition, the place looked lovely at dinner times and they played traditional music in the background which added to the nice ambience. Staff were friendly and kind. The breakfast was also very nice.

We stayed at Hassilabiad as a desert recovery day and really enjoyed our stay. The room was massive for our family of five with two (!) full bathrooms and a washing machine. The pool was ice cold but very refreshing from the hot sun. Walk through the palms to massive dunes took under 15 minutes. The staff were all very friendly and delightful. Highly recommend in Merzouga.

We had a nice decorated room with comfortable bed and bathroom. Sitting in the sun on the roof terrace drinking tea was very nice. Overlooking the city and the Palace gardens. It’s in walking distance to the centre. We had a nice dinner and breakfast. The people are very friendly and helpful. The building with it nicely woodwork and carpets is colourful.

We've visited Marrakech, Fes, Chefchaouen, and Casablanca,...

We've visited Marrakech, Fes, Chefchaouen, and Casablanca, but Auberge Les Roches Merzouga remains our favorite destination. The peaceful environment, incredible desert scenery, and outstanding hospitality made it truly special. Every detail, from the beautifully decorated rooms to the delicious meals, reflected the care and passion of the team.

I feel that Meknes is generally under rated in the tourist destinations. It is really beautiful and there are many places to visit for example The premier art and cultural exhibition in Meknes is worth visiting, Meknes Medina, Bab Mansour Gate, Bou Inaniya Medrasa, Bab al-Khamis Gate etc.

Midelt was an interesting town/city.

Midelt was an interesting town/city. There is lots to explore there. We enjoyed wandering around the souk. Sitting at the foot of the mountains it is quite beautiful in the changing light. Midelt feels that it is well looked after and maintained compared to other cities and towns we have visited in Morocco.

Peculiar European style roof houses for sliding the melted ice, calm, quiet and very comfortable hotels available, especially I highly recommend MICHLIFEN RESORT. Hotel staff was very obedient, punctual. Hotel surrounding, forest tour by walk.. Deep inside, a visit to a small lake for a short picnic, smaller town comparatively and a short centre ville visit are special moments in 4 days visit. A retirement town. I breathed most clean air in the whole of my life. Very clean town.. I always used to rate some rural area of Sub Saharan Africa as the best for good air quality but now my new option is IFRANE of this beautiful country "MOROCCO".

Great town in the middle atlas mountains.

Great town in the middle atlas mountains. The people are friendly. The medina is easy to navigate. The town is small and manageable. Good food and coffee shops. And it is very easy to get to other small towns from here.

Erfoud is famous for dates and location to the desert, other than that there is very little to do there at all. You will have to travel to Merzouga for camel rides, desert buggy, fwd tours and atv tours which is about 45 kms away.

Driving to Merzouga is a long journey, but Auberge Les Roches makes every kilometer worthwhile. The property is peaceful, surrounded by spectacular desert landscapes, and offers everything you need to relax after a day of adventure. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool during the hot afternoons and the quiet evenings under a sky full of stars. This was one of the most memorable accommodations we've ever experienced.

An underrated jewel.

An underrated jewel. People often skip Meknes in favour of Fez but i found it more authentic with far less hustle. The people are simply unfailingly helpful and charming. And there are many sights to see, including Volubilis which is mind-blowing

This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town.

This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town. It has a variety of people who live here, and was dry as a bone when we stayed. We were hoping to hike the surrounding countryside but couldn’t get it together so walked around the various neighbourhoods. This turned out to be a great experience. We found a very interesting Berber village, a completely unexpected Catholic monastery, and a very bizarre but beautiful guesthouse. We were surprised by this town and think that you might be too.
