We stayed at Aria for one night while attending a wedding at the nearby Markovic Winery, but it quickly became clear that this is the kind of place where you could happily stay for much longer. From the very first contact, communication with the hosts was smooth, clear, and reassuring. Dragan and Nataša were always available to answer questions and made us feel welcome and at ease even before our arrival. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted and immediately impressed by the property. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with a stunning new pool, a jacuzzi, and a spacious garden offering both sunny and shaded areas for relaxation. The room itself was comfortable, thoughtfully prepared, spotlessly clean! Combined with the complete peace and quiet of the surrounding village, it provided one of the best nights of sleep we have had in a while. After returning late from the wedding, Dragan very kindly stayed up to turn on the jacuzzi for us. Laying in the jacuzzi under the stars, while enjoying the clear night air and the tranquility of the countryside, became one of the highlights of our stay. The next morning, Nataša prepared a generous and varied breakfast. Her attention to detail, patience, and genuine care for guests are evident in every aspect of the experience. Both she and Dragan go above and beyond to ensure that guests feel comfortable, listened to, and cared for. The location itself is a hidden gem. It is only a few minutes from the beautiful Markovic Winery, close to the historic capital of Cetinje, and well positioned for exploring Montenegro's coastal towns. At the same time, it offers a true peace and relaxation that is becoming increasingly difficult to find today. If you are looking for a place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy real Montenegrin hospitality in a comfortable and welcoming environment, there is no better choice than Aria. We left wishing we had stayed longer, and will definitely return.

"We had an incredible time during our stay! The house was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated for the holiday season 😊 The hosts were fantastic—so kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and fun daily outings. There's a lovely winery nearby, and we really enjoyed exploring Skadar Lake and the River Crnojević. Also, the domestic breakfast was superb. Highly recommend this place to everyone!"

Beautiful location and amazing views, though out-of-the way and a challenge to find. If television, fancy soaps and hotel amenities are important to you, this isn’t where you want to stay. If you’re adventurous, value open spaces and authentic travel experience over fancy, then give this place a try. Rooms are spartan and somewhat worn, but very clean, quiet and spacious. Our patio overlooked grape vines and was very private (as was the whole location). Hosts speak almost no English, but are very accommodating and kind. Food was delicious. Payment in cash only (Euros). Take advantage of their taxi boat service - an amazing ride on the river & into Skadar Lake. WI-FI and internet available, but only near the main house - our room was down a lane & too far away to maintain a connection. Host gave me a hot pot so I could make coffee early morning before she served breakfast.

Petar was a welcoming and friendly host. The room was good size and the bed was comfortable. There is a really lovely garden where you can sit and relax. The wifi is strong in both the room and the garden. There's a full kitchen which you have access to, including use of part of the fridge, if you'd like. This is a great location - easily walkable to the heart of Cetinje. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We booked the studio late in the evening and the host responded immediately (thanks for that!) The studio was very spacious, well equipped and very clean. The location was at a 5 min walk from the center and from all restaurants. We ate at a local restaurant very close to the location and the food was simple and very tasty.

Cetinje museums, primarily the Biljarda (Njegoš Museum) and the Palace of King Nikola, are worth visiting, as well as the Monastery of Saint Peter of Cetinje and the nearby church built in memory of Ivan Crnojević, the founder of Cetinje.

Beautifull place, lot of mountains and nice lake. Be carefull on people, they are trying to rob you. If you go on trip, always check what is usuall price, because people here are not hesitating to ask twice price. For me beautifull country with disgusting people. (doesn't belong to people where we lived, the Dujeva Drago resort. From them I didn't have feeling they want to rob me, they were very serious). Very important notice!!! don't pay in advance for accomodation. I did it in arabela apartments and I become hostage.

The surrounding nature is beautiful and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. Just be careful when driving, as many of the streets are very narrow and only wide enough for one car to pass at a time.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with my experience. The location was perfect — close to everything I needed, yet still quiet and relaxing. The house itself was spotless, very well maintained, and had everything I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It felt welcoming from the moment I arrived. The attention to detail really stood out, and everything was exactly as described (if not better). Overall, this was easily a 10/10 experience, and I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Cetinje is the old royal capital of Montenegro and has many museums and interesting old buildings. It is a small town and it is very easy to walk around. There are quite a few mini-markets in the centre of the town, as well as many cafes and a few restaurants. Cetinje makes a good base to explore other areas of the country, unless you want to spend most of your time on the coast. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes to drive from Cetinje to Budva on the coast and about the same time to get to/from Podgorica Airport. Cetinje is very close to the Lovcen National Park where there are many amazing things to see and do.

Cetinje, the charming royal capital of Montenegro, exudes an...

Cetinje, the charming royal capital of Montenegro, exudes an aristocratic allure that reflects its rich history. Revered in poetry, its churches and monasteries served as a beacon of freedom and Christianity during the invasion of the Ottoman hordes, a time when empires and kingdoms across Europe crumbled before the godless Turkish empire. This royal capital and kingdom of Montenegro has often been referred to as the "Sparta of the Balkans" by the Axis powers during the Balkan Wars and World War I, a title it held throughout the centuries amid the storm of Ottoman vermin. The Palace of the Royal Family Petrović Njegoš and the embassies of former empires and kingdoms of Europe and the world. These landmarks once again indicate the importance of the fortress of Christianity at that time. A city with fewer than six thousand inhabitants in the 17th and 18th centuries had twenty embassies. In the centre are two supermarkets, many bars, pastry shops, and restaurants. All these places are exceptional, but in my humble opinion, I feel best and eat in the restaurant "Kod Kola," where the specialties of Montenegrin cuisine, as well as contemporary dishes, are extraordinary. I have visited this city many times, but I am always fascinated by its beauty, hospitality, and nobility.
