The hotel's location is perfect if you are in town for visa purposes. The hotel is literally next door to the US consulate, while across the street, there are two clinics where you can get your medical documents set up for your consulate appointment. The biometrics location is also 5 mins away within walking distance. The rooms were very clean, we had a kitchenette in ours which is great if you don't plan on eating out. There's a mall about 10 mins away walking distance, plenty of restaurants nearby in walking distance like a Denny's that's open 24 hours. A Circle Q is just around the corner from the lobby entrance. The hotel offers free breakfast, which is a plus. They tend to switch the meals daily. There's a small gym, laundrymat, and computers if you need to print documents and gaming room for the kids. The staff is very friendly and they also have a van service which takes you to several restaurants or to the airport. Rooms are noise proof. You might hear someone walk in the hallway, but that's about it.

The hotel makes you feel like you are home, or in a good place. There is no doubt it is family owned the way it is run and makes you feel. Just look at some pics, you will understand how you can feel at home in this hotel. Food is very good and priced right. No one is rushing you to hurry and eat etc. The bed is as comfortable as anyone could hope for.

I loved almost everything, only thing missing was the pool and it took too Long for the breakfast to be served, hotel was fully booked and it took over hour and a half to be able to have our food, restaurant would do good with more staff and more tables.

1. the location is right ; you need a car; 2. my previous experience in 2023 was in Centro CHIHUAHUA; PARQUE LERDO district;; excellent for walking everywhere 3. I could walk allover town and go to the famous caves - ex- mine - a wonder of experience you cannot miss! With a trolley bus and great affordable price for that excursion of half a day4. Lots of tourist attractions and services 4. Need to go to the Canyons and explore nature's wonder! I could not get there lack of transportation.

It seemed a noisy and garish resort town, with ATVs roaring through the main street at all hours and streets filled with nothing but tchotchke shops. Interesting sights can only be accessed by very long and mundane hikes or by booking a tour. Our guide was excellent however. We did have good meals.

The people are friendly, Spanish is predominantly spoken but a lot of people can also speak English, tons of locations for great authentic Mexican cuisine, and lots of places for some really great shopping.

Best memories: balcony view outside of our room; outside scenic lounge area of restaurant; excellent food in restaurant; knowledgeable bar staff (bartender Alfredo); rooms very quiet; fresh water in glass bottles placed in rooms daily; enjoyable wine tasting; zip- rider/cable car at adventure park and enjoying other guest company. Wasn't crazy about: late dinner seating (earliest at 7pm); late breakfast start at 7am- I would have loved being able to just get a cup of coffee an hour or two earlier (self-serve coffee urn); small plastic shampoo bottles yet no hair conditioner; bus tour group mobbed breakfast buffet at 7am opening causing extremely long lines & unenjoyable cold plates of food.

The restaurants we went to were Borrego de Oro (amazing tacos) and Tortas El Buen Gusto :) The plazas are very nice to sit and enjoy watching people. The Michoacana Mmmmmm the fruit paletas and a place called Aun Hay Mas has an amazing fruit drink with all the fruits!

Outstanding, incredible, fantastic views. We were short on time and wished we could see more. But we were glad to get out of the hotel. The train ride was fantastic! Anyone with the EL Chepe train on their bucket list needs to know how great it is. We booked late and wound up in Executive instead of First Class but still had fantastic views, along with a dining car and a bar car. Train staff is great. The Tarahumara women are all over the place selling stuff. I got a couple of hand-made baskets that I figured would be expensive. I was ready to negotiate and she started at 150 pesos (about $8). I just paid it because I was in shock.

I came for work and spent couple of days here, the city has got two main atractions: the Cathedral and Madre de Dios caves, both are worthy to visit and last one not very known: The cathedral is beautiful and caves take a guided visit of 75 minutes, I really enjoyed it. There are several museums if you want to know the history better, and the ground floor of the Goverment Palace is able to visit and enjoyable. I went also to Tres Presas Metropolitan Park, it's not something spectacular, but there is a very nice walk around a dam to enjoy it in the sunset; furthermore, I also spent one day in Majalca Federal Park at 1h by car and it is really nice to visit. Two or three days for Chihuahua is enough, however, if you want to go to Creel or Tarahumara mountain chain from this city, you need more days.

Nice little town, there is few attractions to see nearby, Veru nice museum right at the train station focused on Raramuri - indigenous people from this area - their way of life, art etc Pleasantly surprised with state of street dogs - this town - unlike neighbouring others does look after them, with food stations on the street

Everyone is so helpful

Everyone is so helpful Betty that service the rooms was so helpful and polite always checking if we had enough towels basically everything. Also it’s right by the consulate, walking distance. They also have a bus tour that picks you up from hotel and shows you around Juarez.- By the way beautiful Thank you Microtel for the perfect stay-!!

Cabanas los portales was 5 kms to the adventure park which is the only attraction in the area. There was no public transport to it. It was certainly worth spending 5 hours there, taking the cable car and considering a guided hike. The woman running the place was very kind My very poor Spanish was a huge barrier
