It is one of the best places in Taman Negara. You don’t need to worry about the location because Taman Negara is really small and you we get tho the river in 5 minutes. The owner was really nice and he is a really good chef. He even took us to the river so we wouldn’t miss our boat. The WiFi don’t work in the rooms but you get really WiFi in the lobby and it’s okay, because you are not going to be that much time in your room. I totally recommend you to stay here

The booking and check in procedure was very efficient and fuss-free. The host was quick to respond to pur queries and relayed timely information that helped expedite our arrival. Upon checking in we were really impressed with the quality of furnishings and facilities which were up to date and more than functional. The bed which was our main focus was really spacious and comfy. A good night sleep is rest assured. There is a fully functional kitchenette equipped with full sized fridge and induction cooker for the chef in us. The bathroom was to our liking, clean and spotless. Close to nearby amenities such as banks, eateries and even a KFC and Pizza Hut a stone's throw completes the charm of this place.

The Tebing Guesthouse is fantastic. The room was clean with enough space and a small terrace. The air conditioning worked too. They offer various tours at the same or slightly lower prices than those available directly by the river. It's a great place to stay if you're in the area. Additionally, you can always buy a bottle of water for 2RM. We tried the breakfast once, but in our opinion, it's not worth it. While the price and quality is good, it's more like a Western breakfast. If that's what you're looking for, go for it. Otherwise, you'll find plenty of more authentic breakfast options by the river or close to the guesthouse

Because of some of the other reviews, my expectations were extremely low. But it wasn't that bad, really. The location is outside of the village, but the hotel offers free shuttles and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night and left very early the next morning. Breakfast was okay, but nothing to write home about. We had two rooms with a connecting door, which was great for our family. Cleanliness was okay, we've definitely seen worse. Not a lot of furniture in the room, but had everything we needed. Not sure how I would feel about staying here for a week, but for one night it was perfectly fine.

AMAZING experience! The room was clean and the garden & views to the jungle are stunning. Super well taken care of. They organized a day trip tour for us , exclusive to the guests, that was super recomendable. One of the best days of our life! They take you 45 mins away and you spend the day with the guide in a not touristic area. They also gave us a lift to the jetty and let us leave our bags with them on our last day. 100% will recommend this accomodation! THANK YOU for everything.

Jungle immersion : forest sounds and songs, animals, extravagant vegetation. Canoe excursion = perfect introduction. Remote location, not too busy with tourists at this time of the year (April); extra solo trip in the jungle. Relaxing moment on the beach by the river after day trek + swimming in perfect temperature waters. Night excursion with guide to spot giant ants, stick insects as well as phosphorescent scorpions.

We're vegans and it was a bit challenging to find food without meat but it was possible. Lots of restaurants. No ATM but there is an ATM at the resort across the river. People were infallibly kind and friendly. If you like trekking in the jungle, this is a great place to be.
