Best stay in Kathmndu. Picup from airport was very good, next morning we ware leaving before breakfast and they made us a breakfast to go. We booked a bus to Pokhara there and in the morning they brought us for free to the bus stand. Very helpful staff!

The hotel staff is so kind and polite, that at one point I wondered whether I even deserve to be treated THAT nice! Really, I felt like a queen. These are the kind of people who say "you're the MOST welcome, ma'am" instead of "you're welcome" and if an issue arises, they solve it in seconds. What an exceptional hospitality! Everything matches the pictures and there is everything you would expect from a 5-star hotel: comfortable big beds with crispy bedsheets, amazing breakfast, beautiful infinity pool etc., but there are also some nice unexpected touches, like a welcome drink upon arrival, or Chenrezig mantra softly playing in the background during breakfast. It's crazy how you can get such service for such relatively low price. Unmatched quality. The only "disadvantage" is that you get spoiled and it's more difficult to stay in other hotels later.

This was our 5th stay at the Magnificent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is good quality. It is in a quiet location in Thamel, and an easy walk to the the main shopping areas. We will be back!

My room got upgraded during check-in. the staffs were very helpful and accommodating. I appreciated the way they handled my queries and requests specially the free airport transfer that they offer. my flight was delayed but the driver waited for me and was very helpful throughout the journey.

What a lovely resort to rest, relax and recharge. Plenty of onsite activities to participate in - yoga, meditation and spa. There are 2 swimming pools as well. The staff were attentive and friendly and helpful and made sure that I was well fed and comfortable. Special thanks to the onsite Ayurvedic doctor, Ashish (restaurant manager) and Sivaram (yoga teacher), the meditation teacher and to everyone else who made my stay all the more enjoyable and pleasant. Being able to contact the resort staff via Whatsapp for any assistance was also very helpful and convenient.

The hotel was amazing, especially the rooftop bar and the staff working there. The quality of service provided by Sanjay, Sudip, Pardip, Alon and Kolpana exceeded our expectation. Special thanks to everyone working at the reception, helping us with everything. We were especially grateful for Suyan's kindness and supportive attitude! We will be staying here for sure during our next Nepal trip!

I switched hotels last year after 9 years traveling through KTM for work. Hotel Himalaya is excellent. Rooms are clean, gym is very good, breakfast buffet is very good, and the staff is excellent. I also like the location as it's close to Lalitpur with many good restaurants. When I bring friends with me they always love being here. It's a great place

Kathmandu is an incredible city, really clean and the people are so nice and helpful. The food is excellent and really exceeded our expectations. The traffic is a bit scary, but the drivers are indeed patient and courteous.

We stayed one night and it was enough. Had a local guide that showed us around. The restaurant right across the square from our hotel was excellent, De Temple Cafe, we had a great meal there. Please try the King Curd (Juju Dhau) whenever you get the chance - it is a specialty of the city and it was absolutely delicious!

In Nepal, both inDrive and regular taxi drivers can be tricky. They often charge more than double the normal price. With inDrive, after you receive a booking, they may call and ask for extra charges. If you repeatedly cancel bookings because you’re not comfortable, inDrive may even restrict your account. This caused a lot of trouble for us. I just want to remind everyone to be careful with taxi drivers and always make sure the cost or fare is clearly agreed upon beforehand.

The location is perfect for quiet and relaxing. The facility is well maintained. Staff are very cooperative and friendly. Manager himself comes and enquire time to time when he sees you. Food is a bit expensive but tasty. Please consider visiting.

I loved mainly being by the Stupa.

I loved mainly being by the Stupa. It was a very authentic Buddhist experience. The shops around the stupa were wonderful and the cafe's and restaurants were wonderful as well. Baudhatincule is a wonderful place to stay upon first arriving to Katmandu. It is much quieter, more authentic and relaxed. The local people are so friendly and warm.

Kirtipur is a town outside of the city, about 5km away so costs about 500 rupees to taxi to the city during the day. At night the cost can vary between 700-900 rupees. The town is a local town so you see very real Nepalese life. Local shops only but it has a range of temples and you can travel to Patan, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur very easily in a local taxi or motorbike. As it is outside of the city, it is very cheap to eat and drink. Here you will see very real local life, market selling on the roads by night and children heading to school in the days. Taxis are available all the time. You have a mountain range view from the town and the sunsets are very pretty over the local mountain range.

The City is grat place to visit with so many historic sites.

The City is grat place to visit with so many historic sites. The food and entertainment is very reasobaly priced in compared to Western standards. The traffic is not as chaotic as other Countries in the region. Very clean and most importantly, the people are nice and feel very safe.

Bhaktapur is a very beautiful and historic place in Nepal. The temples, old houses, and Durbar Square show the rich culture of the Newari community. The city is clean and peaceful. Juju Dhau is very famous and delicious. Bhaktapur is a wonderful place to visit.
