We spend a whole week in DaRosa with a wonderful apartment directly at the beach. The rooms are clean, have AC and a fan, big hot showers and fast WiFi around the whole area. The food at the in-house restaurant is also really good, perfect for a relaxed holiday with your love. The staff is friendly and the service is good. Eating breakfast at the beach was our favorite moment. DaRosa Del Mar is worth a visit if you are in Siargao!

Everything in the room was perfect! We also had access to the common chilling area, which contains a full kitchen that we could use. We extended our stay by 3 more nights in the same room. The property is perfectly located in a quiet section of the main street in SIARGAO. The room that we checked into was number 203. It had a private balcony overlooking the sea. It was quite comfortable. Only two things were not perfect. One, there's no water in the room. Two, the Internet is very poor. In fact, if you plan on doing work in SIARGAO on the Internet, forget about it. Even data in open areas is very, very spotty. Most Wi-Fi at both this establishment and others is hit and miss. For some reason the area of SIARGAO called general Luna has absolutely terrible reception. That not withstanding, the resort is lovely. They have a lovely restaurant downstairs with a billiards stable, dartboard, board games and a super friendly staff. The reception desk is very accommodating and made several reservations for us. I highly recommend this resort. It's cheaper than one that our friends stayed at right next-door and also better. SIARGAO is truly a wonderful place. I highly recommend it for anyone, with a one exception of connectivity. You can't go wrong with the Reef!

Harana was the best spot to be in Siarago, it is centrally located but it has all the relaxed vibes you need between a surf session or a night out. I loved everything about Harana, especially the beach that is at the doorstep! The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, food is excellent. I would come back without a hesitation. Dorm had great vibes, everyone is very respectful and quiet.

Location is great, positioned in the middle of the main strips of General Luna- yet perfectly offset by a long garden entrance, keeping the resort quiet at night and poolside always relaxing. The staff were excellent and attentive- the daily room cleans (fresh towels!) and bottomless house made softdrink were great additions to our stay.

I would personally not recommend Siargao because grab/...

I would personally not recommend Siargao because grab/metered taxi's are not available and all the trikes/tuktuks just overcharge you for what they offer, in general things here are more expensive then the mainland, so I just felt like I was getting ripped off and that's never a nice feeling and I think there are nicer less touristy locations around the philippines or neighboring countries like vietnam, indonesia or thailand. If I had to name a favourite location it's Secret Beach, it has nice cool waters and usually not to many people.

San Isidro and the remaining places of North Siargao really stays true to their claims as the "soul" of the island. San Isidro's simplicity and its location might be a perfect location if you want to find yourself in a quiet and relaxing place. I adore being close to Pacifico which is like more or less 5 minutes motor drive.

Burgos is a quiet place with easy access to Pacifico Beach for surfing and to the main attractions in the north, with motorbike rentals, fresh fish and fruit markets, and great restaurants that will grill the fish you buy for you.

The location in Catangnan is excellent -close enough to the hustle and bustle of General Luna, while still being super chill, quiet, and peaceful. Just steps away from Tuason Beach and only a one-minute ride to Cloud 9. Perfect balance between convenience and relaxation.

I was too early for good waves, but is an amazing place! The island is so beautiful, the people is great! Is a really save place and friendly. Local vendors do not bother you. Lot of traffic, but good vibes all the time! Love Siargao

Dapa was not our destination just a pass through.

Dapa was not our destination just a pass through. I stayed at Club Tara Near Sohoton Cove. The reason for the overnight stay in Dapa was because the PAL flight landed after the last ferry from Dapa to Socorro. Remember to research the ferry times for Dapa to Socorro. Do not pay P 5k from Dapa for a ferry. This is a scam. This review is from April 2022 and the area was hit with a typhoon in December 2021 and is opening back up after the pandemic.

The only downside? Eventually, you have to leave.

The only downside? Eventually, you have to leave. The staff are so genuinely warm and attentive that they make you feel right at home from day one. Add the perfect location, and checking out is honestly the hardest part, it all goes by way too quickly.

Burgos is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Siargao.

Burgos is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Siargao. It's a lot more peaceful than down south but there are beautiful and much les crowded places to explore. There's good 4G signal so you can stay connected but just travelling 15 minutes further north and you're totally off grid which is great. Easy to get to Secret Spot and Tangbo beach for surfing, Alegria beach for tanning and swimming, Tak Tak falls for cooling off in the heat, Kolekbibo, Lokal Hub and Izustarri for tasty food/drinks and lovely views!

At first I kinda did not like the way going to the exact place, but when we found out the other way/easiest way, we felt relieved. The owner was very accommodating and also the in-charge cum reservation/receptionist, she was very kind and helpful, she had given us all the information regarding the places where we should go and enjoy. It was a very short stay but a worthy one, very affordable and family friendly homestay.

I had a problem with the booking because Alexias hostel...

I had a problem with the booking because Alexias hostel there are 2 units. One in El Nido and other in Siagao. When we booked to Siagao as a mistake but we stayed at El Nido unit. So I can talk about Alexias El Nido: You that read my review, should meet this place when you come to El Nido, even to take some beer or a te or a cofe in the sunset. The hostel is open to receive you just to chill with the view. The place is amazing! Need be discovered
