San Juan is a beautiful city but inflating has soared as high as Hawaii. There are too many vendors trying to sell you stuff at overpriced. For example a pina colada from a street vendor costs 22 dollars, plus tip, plus tax (11%). Ridiculous for a place that produces pineapples.

Dorado is a beautiful little beach town very quiet very clean. I would enjoy coming back to this part of Puerto Rico with no hesitation. I felt very safe. I’m traveling solo and that definitely influenced my decision on going back sometime soon.

Isabela is a beautiful and peaceful coastal town.

Isabela is a beautiful and peaceful coastal town. The people of Isabela are very charismatic and helpful. Our favorite places were: Jobos Beach, a safe beach for swimmers and anyone starting out in surfing or bodyboarding, La Pocita de Jacinto, Los Almendros, for fried food; Verde Menta and Blessings Café. Our stay was not on a weekend (Sunday to Wednesday)

Carolina was close to the airport, San Juan and the beaches. We rented a car so we were able to go El Yunque Rainforest, Culbera Island and Luquillo Beach. I did the Old SanJuan Walking Tour which was very informative. I did the half-day hike in El Yunque Rainforest which was a lot of fun. We did a natural waterslide that drops you into a waterfall pool, a rope swing and cliff jumping. I did the Bio-luminescent kayak tour in Fajardo. I was disappointed in the pictures showed the water lit up with beautiful colors. It was hard to seeing anything. It was more a kayak trip in the dark. Flamenco Beach was beautiful. You have to take a ferry to the island which I would recommend booking a few weeks in advance online. Once the sun went down there was not much to do on Culbera Island except get dinner and catch the ferry back to the mainland.

We came to Arecibo for a friends wedding and it was great to experience where they lived and the culture of locals- especially during a wedding. There are no sidewalks to walk - and when you drive you must be very careful of pot hole! Arecibo was a good location for us to stay as our home base to venture out and explore Puerto Rico.

Bayamon is an urban area with all the convenience and facilities that entails: close to shopping, restaurants, highway. It is not a “picturesque” neighbourhood. It is the best quality hotel in the area and I would stay there again.

Ten minute drive to Arecibo to the east and ten minutes to Hatillo to the west. Not much to do for travelers in the immediate vicinity. There is a Sam’s club right across the street as well as the buen cafe across the street in a different direction and a mall a couple minutes away. The beach was only a couple blocks away.

There’s plenty of places to eat different kind of food.

There’s plenty of places to eat different kind of food. The gas prices were cheaper than other places in the city. Very centric no matter which way you wants to go. You have a variety of bakeries, restaurants like Metropol in Roosevelt area 15 minutes from Levittown, there’s Golden Corral in the Canóvanas area 25-30 minutes from Levittown. Denny’s in Bayamón 15 minutes from Levittown. Also Famous Dave in Carolina 20 minutes without traffic. Also the shopping malls are near like Plaza Rio Hondo 7 minutes away and also have a food court too.

San Juan exceeded all of my expectations.

San Juan exceeded all of my expectations. Even though it's a bit far away, you can already see how breathtaking the island is from the airplane. The energy, vibrant colors, and rich culture are absolutely captivating. There is so much to see and do—live music, dancing, amazing nightlife, incredible food, beautiful beaches, and so much more. I completely fell in love with this place. Getting around by Uber is also very affordable, making it easy to explore the city without spending much. Honestly, I don't even want to travel anywhere else anymore—I just want to keep coming back to San Juan. I already miss it so much!

You need to buy grocereis, UBER not good out there bc its too far from city, but UBER from airport great. Use Ruben to drive you around out there 1-787-549-6777, hes very reasonable and shows up for you !!!!!! bring candy and snacks , no vending machines, not even one!!! Its a time share and a lot of people dont realize that. The rooms are quipped extremely well, reception area people are great !!!!! Rooms beautiful!!! There is construction going on next door, but it wasn't annoying. Pool very deep, not very kid friendly in my opinion, but there were kids.
