We got an upgrade to the Presidential Suite at the 14th floor. It was amazing. The suite was huge, the bathroom was incredible and so was the view on both sides of the hotel. We felt really pampered. Too bad we only stayed for 1 night. Overall it was our 5th stay in this hotel and it is our favorite place in Serbia so far.

After a long drive we arrived to the hotel. The staff was super helpful and had reserved a parking spot for us. After settling in the room, we spend 1-2 hours at the pool which we all appreciated. Food was good. Beds were comfy, room was spacious and we enjoyed our stay. The view is nice, and the hotel overlooks the city of Nis, which makes it nice and picturesque. We will come back again :)

The apartment was clean, nice, modern and well equipped. The staff was pleasant and nice. There's a cake shop as part of the hotel The breakfast was excellent with a choice from 8 meals. We had a nice time enjoying the coffee, cakes and the whole stay. I will stay again in the Garni Hotel Lotos on the next Nis visit.

It's so funny to visit Nis for one day!

It's so funny to visit Nis for one day! The walking center is very long and fool of coffee places, bars, young people walking, you get a good feeling there. You can eat very good pies or ice cream on the terraces. The fortress is worth visiting for a cold drink and it's historical places.

Svrljig is a small town that is around 30mins drive from the closest city of Nis, where we landed. Even though compact, Svrljig has everything that most people would need, shops, cafe's and a few 'kafanas' (similar to restuarant with traditional Serbian food). You can notice that not many tourists visit this place because every one seems to know each other. People are mostly friendly and also curious when they see foreigners which we really enjoyed. A lot of people seem to be involved in agriculture because it's normal to see a lot of tractors driving in the centre of Svrljig. We didn't really stay in Svrljig as our accomodation was in a village around 12Km's again called Varos however we went to the town of Svrljig to purchase supplies for our stay.

A beautiful place, probably also a beautiful place to live.

A beautiful place, probably also a beautiful place to live. I am amazed that a part of it has still been preserved where every visitor can see how the city developed and what it has suffered over the centuries. Throughout all the visits, the staff were kind enough to explain the history of the city. I recommend everyone to visit Niš, simply by walking around the city through each part you will be immersed in its history.

Niška banja is located near the city of Niš. Here you can enjoy in different ways: to walk, to have lunch/dinner in a large number of restaurants that prepare delicious food, to visit several sources of spa water. Suva mountain is nearby and those who like hiking can go to the mountain and take a walk.

Interesting town which offers a mix of outdoor spaces for various leisure activities. Lovely authentic downtown. The city infrastructure itself has seen better days but is relatively safe for tourists and steps are being taken to renovate streets. Public transportation is adequate. Taxi services are also modern. Downtown parking is paid but relatively cheap. I was there only for two days but i would gladly return. The old Fortress is a place for art in the form of the Nisville Jazz festival each May=

Great place for hiking as there are many hiking routes to choose. Also, as it is a spa for cardio patients, there are walks suited for them. The scenery is nice, it is a warm water spa, with a nice park, well kept. Several good local restaurants.
