The staff were great! So genuinely kind, helpful, ready to answer any questions or fix any problems. The room was clean and taken care of daily by the staff. The grounds were wonderful. It was like living in an arboretum. Labeled plants and trees were fascinating, and a learning experience. The pools were handy and not overcrowded typically. The breakfast was included at our price point and was definitely well-prepared.

Mouse welcomed us professionally, with a smile and always available. During the week, she helped us translate from Thai to English with a young woman who had given us a ride on a Grab. She was patient and always smiling. Bud, on the other hand, was a true ray of sunshine. From our very first breakfast, she knew our names, and in the days that followed, she knew what drinks we wanted and always had a little something extra, like pineapple cut into a heart shape. Every time we met her in the hotel, she always had a kind word and that warm, welcoming smile. As for the youngs mens around the pool, they were always very discreet and polite; they were truly fantastic. This hotel with its ocean view surpasses all the hotels I've ever stayed in. We felt like we were part of the family. The breakfast was fantastic, with delicious dishes prepared by the chefs, whom we could see through the glass. A true paradise. We're already thinking about our next stay, which we know will be at this hotel. The hotel is situated in a quiet place at 20-30 min from the center of Hua Hin. Far from the loud and cars

I have been around Thailand for many years and visited a lot...

I have been around Thailand for many years and visited a lot of places but never petchaburi. I was most surprised in a good way. The food options are outstanding the pra nakorn Kiri temple and the mahathat temple are as good as you will see in Thailand and the locals are very friendly. I imagined petchaburi as some boring provincial town but it isn't. It's not a party town though so it's not for all tastes.

Kaeng Krachan is rather remote. Aside from the National Park, there is nothing much to see. On hindsight, we should have based ourselves in Hua Hin (most recreational activities found there anyway), and taken a day trip to Kaeng Krachan. Rent a vehicle so you're not stuck in the outdated resort like we did and having to eat most of our meals in the resort and dependent on them to drive us around.

Cha-Am beach is beautiful and very relaxing.

Cha-Am beach is beautiful and very relaxing. Along the main beach, you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas for only 30 Baht per chair, and you can sit for as long as you want. You can even order food directly through the chair owners. Just keep in mind that every Wednesday, there are no chairs or umbrellas allowed on the beach at all. If you prefer a bit more privacy, walk south toward the Raya Resort area. You can find chairs and umbrellas there too, but it is much less crowded than the main section. It also costs just 30 Baht per chair (including the umbrella), and you have the added convenience of being able to use the resort's toilets or order food from them. I absolutely loved this area because it is much more peaceful and allows you to completely get away from the crowds.

One of the most interesting and pleasant cities in Thailand: Khao Luang cave, the beautiful palaces of Rama IV and Rama V, the historic center, etc. I recommend to everyone interested in thaï culture.

This is a fantastic national park, especially for those people who want to experience lots of wildlife. It doesn't have many facilities ( especially when compared to Khao Yai NP), but camping is available (tents can be hired for a reasonable price) and the two campsites have a basic restaurant ( although check opening times as they often close early). Please note that the top campsite can only be reached by a 4x4, and that the park operates a one-way system to vehicles. Therefore you can only drive up the hill between certain hours, and down again in a different time slot. Wildlife abounds in the park, although much of it can be difficult to see to the casual observer. However, a couple of primate and squirrel species are very common, along with various birds. With luck Gaur, Sun Bear and elephant can be seen, while black Leopard sightings are not uncommon.

It was very Thai orientated as I expected and preferred. It had a lovely clean beach and not too busy promenade road. Prices there were more reasonable than other tourist locations in Thailand. I loved the deck chairs on the beach setup with the fresh seafood vendors. You could find secluded and peaceful parts of the beach to relax.

Charming small town, slightly off the tourist beaten track, this isn’t a bad thing! Plenty of temples to visit. Relatively easy to walk to all the main sights. People are very friendly. Some lovely places to eat in the town. There is a rooftop bar at one of the hostels which is a real hidden gem.
