Zarzis is a typical Tunisian town. Not a tourist centre.
Zarzis is a typical Tunisian town. Not a tourist centre. Every thing is typical of a normal town. We went out with a driver for 2 days which was amazing, we covered over 500km. When we go again we will have more time out on the road to see more of the country. We visited a local restaurant twice for breakfast and dinner. Traditional food not tourist food. We like to eat non English dishes.

1st time visiting the area. It was a lovely area to stay in.
1st time visiting the area. It was a lovely area to stay in. Clean and felt very safe. Everyone we met were very polite, helpful and pleasant.
The surrounding area was lovely. We intend to explore the area more when we return later in the year.
The hotel offered so much for our short visit that we didn't really need to leave hotel grounds.
If you're planning a longer trip, look beyond Zarzis and explore the whole country!
