Staying in this beautifully restored historic mansion was truly a special experience. While the stone walls and courtyard reflect the spirit of the past, the rooms are exceptionally comfortable. It’s a wonderful choice for anyone who wants to experience the historic atmosphere of Tarsus. Thanks to the warm and welcoming team, we felt right at home.

The hotel’s most important feature was the staff. They were very friendly and always ready to help, and you feel this from the hotel lobby to the restaurant. The hotel’s location is excellent; you can reach the marina on foot, and it’s easy to find public transportation to the city center. The room was spacious and comfortable, cleanliness was on point, and the breakfast selection was very good with high-quality ingredients.

Pleasant staff, good breakfast, clean and comfortable bed.

It was an amazing retreat. Not a typical all inclusive low grade resort that are seen around the country, but a real gem. The hotel is super nice, located in mountains, and surrounded by orange gardens that create incredible aroma when mixed with pines.

Nice and friendly staff, breakfast was really good, a bit more options than in the rest of Turkish hotels, tasty and delicious.

I’m an American solo traveler w/o a car, staying in Room #102 for 4 nites. Rain Hotel has everything you need for an enjoyable & relaxing stay: comfortable & extremely clean room, great water pressure in shower with hot water, air con, room safe, mini-fridge, big comfortable bed, very good WiFi. I slept like a baby. The staff was accommodating, friendly & always pleasant. The owner/mgr can assist in arranging transport to nearby sites; he’s very approachable, knowledgeable & speaks great English. The breakfast buffet spread in the morning was healthy & sumptuous w/daily changes. The Mediterranean is a mere 2-minute direct walk from the hotel (if that). The hotel is a several minute walk from the highway bus stop on D-400 Highway. The Rain also has a restaurant bordering the beach with an extensive eating & drinking menu in a lovely garden setting with views of the sea & the “floating castle” & weekend live music during the season. Oh yeah: the open-air lobby sitting area offers a great relaxed communal space for chilling in the early evening. What else can I say? I recommend Rain Hotel without hesitation. I will stay here again if passing this way. It felt like home.

Staff is very friendly, clean , and walking distance to mersin Corniche.

Staff were very good but no breakfast offered on late arrival nor early departure date. Breakfast also until 11:00 am but 3 times it had been cleared by 10:40-45
