Speechless!!!! There’s a reason why this place was rated #1. Had the pleasure of staying here for 1 night at a very low off season rate and couldn’t pass it up. Absolutely impeccable. I would 100% choose this one over the Gatlinburg one.

Absolutely exceeded our expectations. We just kept saying how happy we were staying there. Our time spent was 4 nights of complete comfort. The lobby had such a warm and cozy feeling, like home. The front desk staff were all kind and engaging... actually, very nice and funny, they could not have been more accommodating. The room was large and very well appointed. The wet bar was a Bonus, and gave lots of extra space for our needs. The bathroom was also large, we were never cramped when trying to use the sink and counter at the same time. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed the wine trail and shopping the small, quaint shops. The kids enjoyed the ropes course and Anakeesta. We were able to park in the middle of town for a $20 daily fee and walk to all the shops, restaurants, attractions and points of interest. The trolley was available but not chosen on this trip. The weather was warm and humid so the ice cream shop was a big hit. Really enjoyed the trip!

Roanoke was a wonderful city.

Roanoke was a wonderful city. It had some aspects of it that felt like a city, but for the most part it had really cozy small-town vibes. We went to many different restaurants like Benny Marconi's Pizza, Six and Sky, and Corned Beef and Co. Pub, and they were all really good. The art museum was a highlight of the trip, we both loved it. Ultimately just a really nice city filled with cool shops, eats, and nice people.

Water level was really too low for the tubing, but we tried it anyway, even with push sticks, we walked down the river often. Nice place to visit, different food options with Germanic flavors. Rode the mountain coaster, wife lost hat, staff called us that evening they found it. We stopped by Anna Ruby Falls while in the area, if you have trouble walking get a walking from the parks gift shop before starting the short hike up a paved trail. Stopped by Nora mill to pickup grits, and visited Nacoochee Antiques across the street.

Nice revitalized city in Virginia.

Nice revitalized city in Virginia. If you want a really nice place to eat then you can NOT miss stopping at Clementine Cafe in town. I have no connection to them. It's just an honest referral. Their food is outstanding. We go to Shenandoah National Park every year. Visiting this cafe is a must. Secondly, the greatest Korean BBQ in a small spot is GOGIWA. Don't pass it up. Can you tell we are foodies? It received a Plaque from Google as it is the highest rated eatery in surrounding 8 states!! The owners are an incredibly kind Korean couple. Don't skip them either.

Boone was very beautiful with the snow covered mountains and snow covered buildings. Icicles hanging in the trees. Dress for freezing weather thick coat, scarf, hat, gloves and thick socks. I was toasty even with the wind whipping by. We shopped the day after graduation and everything was easy to find. We are ate at Chili’s but it was less than desirable. I have a no salt diet but my meal was loaded with salt. I brought the steak home for my dog, so he thought it was good! Wish we had went to Daniel Boone Inn or a steak house.
