I loved the southern charm! It was beautiful and with quaint rooms that were loaded with interesting old rare books that you’d find in a one of a kind little unique bookstore. Also, we just loved the staff. Ciara’s was fantastic and helped us get checked in with such a great personality. I can’t remember our two bartenders but they were super personable and I really fancied our conversation. Thank you all! Lastly, we were able to bike ride after dinner to burn some of the calories and feel the breeze before bedtime. I have nothing but found memories!

While we have been to Columbia before to visit family we...

While we have been to Columbia before to visit family we enjoyed the zoo, the Soda City Market is a walkable events on the weekends with local crafts, vendors, food, and drinks and it's a must in the summer. We also went to the South Carolina fair and enjoyed that as well. There's many things to do and see. Lots of history and culture as well. Highly recommend Railroad BBQ for great ribs, brisket, chicken, and pulled pork.

Older town has most of what you need.

Older town has most of what you need. Located near bigger areas so travel was 15 mins to most things. Nice to be out of the crazy Cloumbia traffic but close enough to enjoy shopping and venues Cloumbia.

OLD AND DIRTY AND NOT CLEANED PROPERTY ANYWHERE. THE TOWEL RACK FELL OFF THE WALL THE RUG HAD LOTS OF STAINS AND DUST BUNNIES, THE TOP OF BUREAU AND PULL OUT TABLE WERE NOT CLEAN. I CAN'T IMAGINE HOW IT STAYS IN BUSINESS....I GUESS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I JUST THOUGHT IT WAS SUCH A SPECIAL DEAL....NEVER AGAIN

Before checking in 8/3 Booking.com did not respond to my many requests to cancel day 8/5 and refund me my money. We checked out 5AM 8/4 still no response from Booking.com regarding my refund! Cayce's walkways are filthy and stained, The ice machine in the check in office had dirt and what seems to be liquid mold growing in it, The pillowcases were clean. however, the stench from the pillow themselves was unbearable, terrible stench, I requested two additional towels from the front desk and was refused. Two towels haw to do for my son, two grandsons and I. We found toilet tissue that was enough for one use.

Just an amazing city, vibrant and filled with things to see, the red brick architecture is a particular favourite of mine, can't go wrong with a visit to it. Be carefull of the drivers though, 20mph over marked speed limits seems to be the standard for everyone even the police

Good location if one is visiting Congaree Natl Park, which...

Good location if one is visiting Congaree Natl Park, which is an excellent stop even for a short time. Gas and food options are good in immediate vicinity of the intersection of I-26. Traffic through Columbia can be brutal so if you're traveling east-to-west and staying overnight it might be better to get a place on the west side of the city. For some reason the prices of all lodging in and around Columbia seem inflated for what you get... even on the discount sites.
