"Cd Juarez might not have many attractions like other cities in Mexico but it is definitely worht a visit if you want to get to know amazing people and delicious food. I'd highly recommend restauraunts like Maria Chuchena, Viva Mexico, the food trucks or anything local. Transportation is always available via bus, uber, taxis, and it's pretty easy to get around. Also it's a great deal, two for one if you plan on visiting El Paso Tx, it is a border town with Cd Juarez. And the only thing i'd say to avoid is try to drive fancy vehicles if you end up renting one, don't carry too much cash, or fancy jewelry, the more simple you look the better."

"I have so may happy memories of summer trips to Carlsbad Caverns, White's City and Rattlesnake Springs throughout my childhood and while a lot has changed it was so much fun taking my husband there to share with him. There is also a great Asian buffet called China Dragon Buffet; HIGHLY recommend! While Carlsbad NM is a small town it has all the amenities and the folks there are truly great!"

The hotel's location is perfect if you are in town for visa purposes. The hotel is literally next door to the US consulate, while across the street, there are two clinics where you can get your medical documents set up for your consulate appointment. The biometrics location is also 5 mins away within walking distance. The rooms were very clean, we had a kitchenette in ours which is great if you don't plan on eating out. There's a mall about 10 mins away walking distance, plenty of restaurants nearby in walking distance like a Denny's that's open 24 hours. A Circle Q is just around the corner from the lobby entrance. The hotel offers free breakfast, which is a plus. They tend to switch the meals daily. There's a small gym, laundrymat, and computers if you need to print documents and gaming room for the kids. The staff is very friendly and they also have a van service which takes you to several restaurants or to the airport. Rooms are noise proof. You might hear someone walk in the hallway, but that's about it.

The location was very easy to find with GPS. Valet was very quick and easy (and car came back perfect) and honestly cheap for daily use. The room was pristine, bed very comfortable. Minibar and coffee area very nice. Bathtub and shower PHENOMENAL. Front desk/concierge was extremely accommodating, very polite and helpful. They were also very accommodating to our dog which goes a very long way with us. The restaurant is also a 10/10 for all meal types. Even the water was pristine and pure. I wish we could have stayed longer if not for scheduling. Will definitely be recommending the Stanton House to anyone visiting El Paso.

The hotel makes you feel like you are home, or in a good place. There is no doubt it is family owned the way it is run and makes you feel. Just look at some pics, you will understand how you can feel at home in this hotel. Food is very good and priced right. No one is rushing you to hurry and eat etc. The bed is as comfortable as anyone could hope for.

We visited Cristo Rey which was a nice hike with great views. Another day we drove to the Franklin Mountains and guided to the Aztec Caves. We visited the market in Las Cruces and bought craft souvenirs. We drive to the white sands national park for a walk and a picnic. Good visitor centre and video presentation there. We ate each night in local restaurants which were friendly, good value and good food.

Carlsbad is an amazing place to see. The walking tour is somewhat challenging for older people, but well worth the time and energy. Wish we had arrived earlier so we could have done the last half of the tour. We were glad to have the elevator for the ride back up.

Safe, clean and historical, walkable downtown.

Safe, clean and historical, walkable downtown. I did not get much of change to try the food here. I suggest visiting all the hotels as a tourist, just an amazing city with art deco, Victorian and old style turn of century architecture. Plus, stop by the Rim road viewpoint to see both cities on the border.

Carlsbad National park is an outstanding park that all should experience. The area around the park is beautiful. The park grounds are well kept. We were able to bring our dog with us and used the kennel service. They had a very limited availability of large kennels and by 10am we had taken the last large kennel. The town is small and quaint but sadly has turned into an oil field workers town. In addition it was sad to learn that the national park can not be classified as a dark sky area due to the light pollution of the oil fields that surround the park and into the town.

Our past experiences have just been passing through and sadly, all we have seen is the Mexico side where the shanties are and whatever is on either side of the freeway. It's very different when you get off of the freeway and go farther into town. It's much cleaner and prettier.

For your interview consulado ( ciudad Juárez ) you need 6-7 days - this hotel is perfect for your needs !! Consulate & clinics , walking distance ! No need car - area is safe - restaurants - big mall all you need is there ! Hotel is decent price , community in that area is small so main income is guests that travel for emigration interviews ! This is better option than home stay . Please don’t expect fancy beds , wide screen TV breakfast buffet !! Free laundry !!! Coffe , snack bar .! Compare prices this a nice hotel for the price ! Good luck in your interview . ( important - if you fly from CBX - Tijuana airport be ware aware , buy one way on the return buy ticket on line for the return ( no airport airline staff all day ) volaris to contact a human operator is poor ! ) This was the only mild negative issue !!!
