Best hotel room we've stayed in. Stylish, modern, very spacious, comfortable bed. Loved the sparkling clean floor to ceiling and wall to wall window with door entry onto full length balcony overlooking the gulf. The sliding sheer curtain and shade were pleasantly neutral and added definition to the updated vibe of the room. And the large TV screen was surprisingly sharp with good color and definition. The unexpected adjustable TV screen in the bathroom was a hoot and I'm not gonna lie--we did have it turned on.

We didn’t do much away from hotel.

We didn’t do much away from hotel. Only went to a couple of restaurants. City seems to be pretty quiet and people were nice.We ate at a Chinese restaurant close to hotel I can’t remember the name but, food was really tasty. We ate breakfast at Waffle House close to hotel and employees were superb and so was the food. It was easy to locate places.

I haven't been in a few years and there are a lot of new places to see, things to do and places to eat. I drove over to Ocean Springs where they have an outdoor market with different venders selling their wares.

We liked Ocean Springs, it was very quaint. We actually made a friend while there. We asked the locals where to eat and have a drink. Everyone we met were very friendly. The shops closed before we could go into so we don't really know about the shopping. We visited Biloxi to go to the beach.

We love Bay Saint Louis. W e go all the time. We had to cancel reservations due to threat of Hurricane. We are 77 and on fixed income. We were going to bring our great grandsons for a little overnight stay before school started. Booking still changed us for something out of our control. Good business would return our money or give us another date to come. Send phone number

We only stayed one night.

We only stayed one night. But the hotel is just off the interstate, easy access. There is gas station next to the hotel, convenient. The entire area was clean, not junky. However, we did see one homeless person sleeping near the gas station. Still, we did not feel any sense of danger. Our stay was uneventful. And we would stay here again.

This is a good beach for people who aren't strong swimmers.

This is a good beach for people who aren't strong swimmers. The water wasn't overly deep, even at high tide, and calm. At low tide, there are plenty of sand bars to walk out on and collect shells, see Sea life. There were quite a few jellyfish and crabs though, so watch your step. We found quite a few restaurants both in Long Beach and nearby. They were kind of pricy, but the food was good. The community is still showing signs of damage from Hurricane Katrina. The pier was closed off and there are plenty of vacant lots with as much sand on the sidewalks as on the beach. My biggest complaint though is the lack of crosswalks on Hwy 90, making it difficult to cross to get to the beach. Other than at the traffic light near Waffle House, you're risking your life each time.

Cute cottage on a large private lot just down the road from the beach. Well appointed and comfortable for a couple with a dog. Large yard is fenced on three sides, but open to the street. Beautiful neighborhood full of fancy homes. The area was wrecked by Katrina so most of the building is new. Plentiful shopping & services nearby. Fully functional kitchen appointed with the essentials to get cooking.

We booked a room in advance and we’re given what quite possible could’ve been the worst of all. We were right under stairs and could hear guests and kids stomping and suitcases banging on the steps. Lost a lot of sleep. They are selfish with clean towels and only gave two towels and washcloths at a time until I insisted on more as we did not use housekeeping. After six days I’m still waiting on hotel mgr. to return my call, but at this point it doesn’t matter. I’ve called and left two messages and told he’d be in next day, but never in when they say. If he cared he would’ve returned my call by now, so that speaks volumes. We were excited to have a huge jetted tub, that was short lived as the jets didn’t work and not even a plug for bathing. As soon as we opened a dresser drawer the handle fell off on one end. Don’t choose this one!

There are no downstairs bedrooms, kitchen appliances were outdated and rusted, carpet was dirty, needs new mattress they sloped and were dirty, showers built for short people and needs updating, New linen for bedrooms are needed, bedrooms are on the upper level and there are a lot of stairs, not wheelchair accessible, needs painting. The parking and the cost were acceptable, the golf course is located and visible right outside your door.

Our favorite spot was the Waffle House not far from the hotel. We did eat from the places at the hotel but very expensive but potions was good. The traffic was crazy and very busy for us. We only went to rest didn't do anything tried the beach but couldn't figure that out I guess we had no good directions.
