We stayed here for a week with a group of 28 basketball boys attending a camp at Duke, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and the service was excellent throughout. Breakfast was great every day – a perfect way to start our packed schedule. Special shout-out to Mimi and Pricilla for their outstanding care and kindness. Pricilla, in particular, showed endless patience with the boys (ages 13–14). My family and I were there accompanying our son, and we can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Everything ran smoothly, and the hospitality truly stood out. It's the little touches that made the experience extra special – from the board games set out in the lobby during the evenings, to the fresh cookies in the afternoon, the guest-use grills, and the fun outdoor games in the patio area. Thank you for everything!

I loved the architecture of the buildings downtown, and the beautiful cobblestone streets. We got to stop by the Farmers Market which was a lot of fun. I wish I'd had more time to dig into the history of the city, There's a lot of family friendly stuff to do there too. I wish I had a longer visit to really explore more of the city but I'll definitely be back again in the future!

Lots of state history, and I learned about Durham’s progressive bent at the Museum of Durham History. Our knowledgeable docent was Clay. Sarah P. Duke Gardens were a short drive away. Letters bookstore is an easy stroll from the hotel. I visited the Liberty and Plenty Distillery (take the tour), and visited SOIF, near hotel, Remy’s for World Cup game, brunch at Aktuun, lunch at the Lakewood Social Club, new Durham Bulls park, saw old Durham Bulls park (Bull Durham filmed there), the Nasher Museum (free admission and knowledgeable manager in the gift shop), the Durham Arts Council, 5 Points Gallery-loved art from artists Todd Levins, Teddy Devereux and Jim McKeon), lunch at Luna (near hotel), the American Tobacco District - walking distance from hotel, and LocoPops and LocoShops are a must. Lemon curd popsicle anyone? I found very friendly people to chat with as I wandered around.

Cary has a lot of interesting tourist attractions that is free. The UNC Garden, the Rose garden and the Museum of arts are all free venues. The town also have some interesting eating places from formal dining to fast food places. I was disappointed that the NC History museum is closed for restoration until 2028.

Personal at front desk was excellent.

Personal at front desk was excellent. Very helpful and caring. I had booked the room through Booking.com. When the event we were going to see was canceled we tried to get our money back. Refund was refused by Bookit.com. So we went to Greensboro anyway. We went to the science museum and to the civil rights museum. Both were wonderful and my 5 year old great grandson didn’t want to leave either one. This is a trip I would like to do again and I would definitely stay at your hotel.

Being there for a funeral and meeting family members for the first time, it was not necessarily a place I would otherwise have chosen. What I saw of the area seemed quite nice. We did eat at the same restaurant, Briggs, two days in a row, and that was very good. The food at Briggs was really tasty with huge portions. The staff was super-efficient and friendly. I would certainly recommend it and will go there again if I should find myself in the Wake Forest area.

Raleigh, like Charlotte has a huge noise problem!

Raleigh, like Charlotte has a huge noise problem! I have never been in two cities in which I hear revving engines, sirens, loud cars, etc. Its like NC doesn't have a noise ordinance. I have travel all around the world, been in LA, SF, NYC, DC, Beijing, London, Miami, Paris, Tokyo...but NONE of them compare to how loud Raleigh and Charlotte are. Avoid at all cost if you like to sleep.
