The atmosphere was fantastic, and all of the staff were more than helpful and friendly. The pool and bar were amazing. We had a blast out there. The only issue I had the entire time was when we had lunch at the Landshark Grill. When we were sat there were only 2 other tables that were occupied at the time. After waiting for 8 minutes I finally flagged down a waitress to take out order. Other than that, the experience was great.

Mccallen is a very clean city with lots of great restaurants. My stay there was very short to our really can't comment too much on what there is to do while in macallen but i explored some of the neighborhoods by car and I would really love to go back and spend more time there.

Location was good like I had mentioned.

Location was good like I had mentioned. When I arrived checked in this was easy. Went to my room it was warm so cranked down ac went to dinner came back temperature was about same. It’s been hot so I let is be. Bathroom had a towel no wash cloth about a 1/4 of toilet paper. Shower had no pressure no hot water. Could not unlock tv it was on internet called front desk gave it 30 minutes no one showed went to front desk I was told the girl who can fix that had left for the day. It took some time but some other girl showed up with a different remote control and unlocked it. Other than than that I spent time with my family and had some great food. When I go back I’m picking a different hotel.

Well to start of, the expressway way is right infront of this place and basically takes you everywhere you need to go. This expressway takes you the mall, the zoo, and downtown. Trust me you wont get lost.

WoodSpring Suites McAllen Pharr, TX

WoodSpring Suites McAllen Pharr, TX We rented a week stay due to Beryl hurricane, by Wednesday we checked out due repairs with no water in room, we bought 2 gallons of water to flush toilet, fire alarms ringing 2 days in a row, & technicians walking in room to repair items, My 87 year old mom & 2 other seniors were uncomfortable with all all these areas, we checked out Wednesday night. South wood suites staff commented that (150.12) would be partial reimbursed to our credit card for the inconvenience. I received the invoice/statement with the ($150.12), but have not seen the reinstatement on my card. Staff & employees: Suzi, RJ & Dee at site. Thank you

Room was disgusting, I had to quickly pick up and leave bc my kids couldn’t stop coughing and complaining their eyes were burning due to the extremely dirty rug and too much chlorine in the pool. Air conditioner was disgusting 🤮. Toilet smelled so bad. Overall my kids ended being sick for 24 hrs after that. Then front desk didn’t care to refund or even have empathy for my children. The manager was supposed to reach out to me and that didn’t happen either. Lost out on my 110 dollars and they didn’t even want to check me in after they had already billed me without my authorization. Thanks to booking representative , hotel had to honor my stay since they had charged my card without authorization.

It’s a nice little town everything is close by.

It’s a nice little town everything is close by. Little home owned restaurants nearby. Felt safe and comfortable. Really close to the border where we often go to dine, shop, and dance. You have to visit and don’t listen too much about the dangers. Just stay on the main strip and you’ll be fine. You just always have to be cautious about your surroundings and that is anywhere you go. We always have a great time in Weslaco and Mexico.

Port Isabel is a wonderful bay location.

Port Isabel is a wonderful bay location. While it misses having a sea coast beach area, it does make up for that with oustanding amenities at the LIV location; restaurants are plentiful and really, really good. The area is easy to get around. There are music choices. And the beach is only a short drive away. For anyone having their own boat, or access to a boat, this would be a 5 star location.

The hotel is centered in between a flagship HEB across the street, Home Depot just behind, a Chase bank to one side, a Wal-Mart across the highway easy to get to several restaurants just acroas the street, Papa John's deliverys. The experience was great!

We really didn't enjoy our stay, we had so many issues to start with the pull out bed sheets were covered in what I'm assuming were blood stains and when we brought it up to the people up front it seemed like it was something that happens often, and to top it off we had another guest that was intoxicated start issues with my family, cops had to be called and nothing was done.
