They did not offer breakfast :( The staff was very accommodating especially since I had to switch rooms due to smoke cooking odor in first room! But after I moved rooms I loved my stay!! The room was perfect!!!

Branson is a great place to spend with family.

Branson is a great place to spend with family. Loved doing the pink jeep tour. The show boat is an awesome show to watch. The food there was great. Branson is easy to get around. Go to the purple house to get tickets to shows.

We came to go to Silver Dollar City and White Water.

We came to go to Silver Dollar City and White Water. Silver Dollar City is an amazing Family theme park. I would recommend it to anyone. We stated in Branson West for the price and location to Silver Dollar City. This was a perfect choice for our short trip.

The lake was awesome.

The lake was awesome. There are cafes with lake/dock access and places within 20 miles by car (like Flat Creek & El Lago restaurants) with good food and live music. Lots of churches and a walmart in nearby Branson West. The people are friendly.

Keep in mind that Shell Knob is a small community.

Keep in mind that Shell Knob is a small community. They don't have massive strip malls, outlet stores or a Super Walmart. They do have all your essentials (grocery store, restaurants, gas, etc.) There are places to enjoy the lake/river close by and if you drive a few miles from town the are plenty more outside activities to enjoy. That being said, the people in Shell Knob are as friendly and nice as you can get. I really enjoyed just meeting and speaking with some of the locals when my family passed through recently on vacation. Lastly, my kids loved the old school Pizza Hut where you can enjoy some decent pizza and great views of the river/lake.

We loved the uniqueness of the cottage and even though other rentals were close by the cottage was situated as such that it gave us seclusion. The lakefront access was perfect and we definitely took advantage of it! Response time to questions was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The location on Table Rock Lake was excellent, although it would even be better in the warmer months, and the lake is not in what I assume was its 'Winter Pool.' The entry driveway of loose gravel was difficult to navigate and would be worse in snow or icing conditions.

This mid week trip traffic was manageable. Previous visit that included weekend traffic was unbearable. I live in Wichita which is known as a 15 minute town because from any point A you can travel to almost any point B in 15 minutes. On a Saturday morning off season in Branson it took me 30 minutes to go 10 miles. What a farce for a 5 square mile of population. On a brighter note I had not eaten at Denny's for decades. After seeing David, Longhorn Steakhouse was long closed. Denny's served a great sirloin at near midnight, perhaps better than Longhorn. I commented to the waitress that her tip was largely due to Denny's having such a great cook.

SDC, the Boardwalk, downtown- what could you not like? They have just about anything for everyone. The only rough part is the traffic, but it is just because of how popular the trip is in general. It does get a bit pricey, but I liked Silver Dollar City, and Grand Country is a nice place to stay for children and adults. The people here are pretty nice, and they have food for everyone and all price ranges as well.

We had the time of our life.

We had the time of our life. We woke up and was getting ready for our day and walked right outside of our hotel and was able to enjoy a Christmas parade. My daughter loved it tossing of candy for her...and for me it brought back childhood memories of our Christmas parades back home and how people had respect for others. During our stay we ate at MA's restaurant the staff was wonderful and food was amazing. It was just like eating at grandmas house. Home cooked food. See when I was younger my family owned its own restaurant and all the food was made from the heart noting frozen like most restaurants serve today. So yes go eat at Ma' s in Kimberling every one needs a dam good home cooked meal..

The area was very pretty.

The area was very pretty. I'm from Kansas so driving on those roads was challenging but it was worth it! Finding restaurants close was a bit challenging but we found a wonderful place within a few miles in Golden by the Table Rock airport that was so worth the drive that we went back twice.
