The location is fantastic close to lots of highlights. The common area upstairs was great, the staff spend a lot of time there and are very friendly, and the kitchen is clean and well equipped.

An unforgettable stay with an exceptional host! Our time at Freddy’s place in Valparaíso was truly incredible. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, safe, and completely at ease. Freddy is an outstanding host — kind, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making sure his guests have a wonderful experience. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and full of character. It's set up over two levels, with a cozy loft bedroom, a functional kitchen, a good shower, a dining area, and a small outdoor balcony. While the main level is slightly dim, there's a skylight upstairs that adds natural light. We slept so well — the beds were very comfortable! Freddy’s BnB is filled with fascinating artwork and creative touches throughout, making the space truly unique. Each morning, we enjoyed a fresh and delicious breakfast: eggs, avocado, toast, jam, and coffee — the perfect start to the day. The location is excellent — perched in the heart of Valparaíso’s historic hilltop neighborhood, close to Cerro Concepción. From the rooftop restaurant and bar upstairs, you’ll get panoramic views over the city and the bay — absolutely breathtaking. It’s also an easy walk to explore the vibrant street art, colorful houses, and nearby cafes and galleries. There's even a lovely Italian restaurant just across the street. Valparaíso is steep and full of staircases, but Freddy has thoughtfully added a handrail for extra safety (even though we already felt secure during our stay). What truly sets this place apart is Freddy himself. He went above and beyond for us — guiding us around local art galleries, introducing us to friends, and even escorting us by public bus to the stadium (a fun, rollercoaster-like ride!). We communicated easily in a mix of Spanglish and Google Translate — Freddy also speaks French and German, having lived in Europe. As three women and one teen traveling, we felt completely safe and supported.

Great light, amazing view. Owners share a family style meal about once a week. Quiet, nice folks. Simplest public transport of any metropolis I know.

Amazing location, so special. Helpful and accommodating staff. Friendly dogs and cat. Fun cabin, simple and cozy. Only accessible with SUV or AWD.

Walking distance to the beach, with grocery stores near in the area. Supermarkets, restaurants, fast food (pizza, sushi, salad), and gas stations just a few minutes drive away. The apartment common areas include gardens, a playground area for kids, 1 large swimming pool, 1 inside warm pool, a terrace jacuzzi, barbecue areas, meeting rooms, and a gym. The apartment itself has everything you need for cooking and saving in restaurants: a kitchen with an oven, microwave, fridge, boiler, dishes, pans, cups, and all the stuff you need for a stay. Bedding sets are all included as well as restroom ammenities restroom ammenities The Internet is fast +300M, cable TVs x 2, and a kerosene heater. This place got it all, it's just amazing !!

The host was very attentive. The apartment has a wonderful ocean view. Perfectly clean, and the implements were in place and good quality.
