Stunning. Iconic. The grounds are beautiful, the interiors were classically furnished and decorated, and everything just felt like a dream. We enjoyed a relaxed stay playing croquet in the gardens and football in the courtyard. Easy trips across the countryside to castles. A quiet, peaceful spot to return home to.

I stay here when climbing in the area. I love this place. The restaurant is good and staff friendly. The hotel owner is great...it's a great value, and also a great place post-bouldering. I almost don't want to write this review because I want it to stay a secret! Hahaha!
