Matti & Eeva made us feel like we were visiting friends, and we are so grateful to them for sharing their beautiful apartment in a great location in that lovely town. Helpful information provided, clean, comfortable, and great hosts. This feels like what this site should be.

This hotel is on Savonlinna’s main square, Kauppatori, right by Lake Saimaa. It provides free WiFi and sauna access, and a rooftop lake-view restaurant open in the summer.

Quiet nice place.The fridge was a super nice surprise 🤩 The photos about the door and lock arrived many minutes later than the text, so we had to ask about the door from friendly locals.

Amazing place to relax and enjoy nature. Good atmosphere in the camping and with a lake in front of it. I stayed in a small cottage, and it had everything I needed. Big fridge and microwave inside the room. I rented a bike in the restaurant and cycled to Purkahanju. It's beautiful! There are also a lot of hiking trails around the area.
