A great and cozy characteristic house with authentic old furniture, but modern appliances and brand-new spotless bathroom. Very pleasant hosts. Unfortunately, they don't speak English and we don't speak French, so we could not have any conversation. But they lit a fireplace for us which was so cozy for a rainy day. The village is small and have literally nothing in it, but it was exactly what we were looking for.

Ay central is located in Ay, just 2.3 miles from Epernay Train Station and 16 miles from Villa Demoiselle. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are available at the apartment free of charge.

We had an exceptional stay at this apartment in Reims. We enjoyed it so much that we even asked to extend our stay—but unfortunately, it was already fully booked (which says it all). The apartment is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully outfitted with everything we could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the coffee/espresso machine was a highlight of our mornings. We also really appreciated the spacious bathroom, with its large shower and double vanity—such a rare and welcome luxury while traveling. The location couldn’t have been better, with grocery stores, a bakery, a wine shop, a Belgian chocolate shop, shopping, and restaurants all just a short walk away. Our host, Matthias, was very responsive and thoughtful—he even shared his own personal guide to Champagne, which made exploring the local Champagne houses such a special experience. 10/10 stay—we would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Reims.

It was an excellent place to stay after a very long drive from the south of France. The apartment is very well-equipped, comfortable and clean, and is within easy walking distance to lots of lovely cafes and restaurants, and the Avenue de Champagne. Communication with the host was quick and efficient. The beds were wonderful, too; it was good for our children not to have to sleep on a sofa bed.

Beautiful location, a stones throw from Moët and countless champagne houses. The apartment is stunning. We were on the top floor. Plenty of space. Comfy bed and spacious bathroom and shower.
