Ideally located in between Mount Kenya and Aberdares National Parks. Comfy rooms. Live music at the weekends. Flexible home cooked breakfast.

The place is beautiful. The gardener has the surroundings in tiptop shape. So pretty. The room is spacious and the bathroom is nice and roomy. The staff is very nice and the food is good. The food is delicious. The sweetest thing ever was finding a hot water bottle hot and in the bed when we crawled in. The large screen tvs in the cafe and bar are great for watching the games.

Provide wifi password in the rooms

I love the location; right in the middle of everything in Nyeri Town; making evening walks pure bliss since I can easily get back to the hotel. The parking (especially adjacent to the reception/ rooms) is spacious, offering an amazing view of the extensive greenery that surrounds the rest of Nyeri. The extra blanket and the water heating jug (plus complementary tea/coffee) were an absolute lifesaver (given how chilly it could get at night in July). Friendly and helpful staffs, swift check-in and check-out, spacious room with a fantastic view... sleeping here was great. Conference Facilities: I have used White Rhino's conference packages before, and they have executive halls, and their dining experience is awesome.

Great location off the main track and given the poor roads, was a pleasant surprise from the second the gate opened. Very personalized staff, rooms over looking endless landscaped gardens with Peacocks, Warthogs, Zebra's, Impalas, Eland's and list goes on. The Rothschild Giraffe's were a special treat and the horse ride among them was the Cherry on the cake! Supposed to have Leopards but never saw them...

Where do I start. Driving to the hotel can be very daunting unless you have someone to take you, or you arrange a pickup. It is a fair distance from the local town and can be expensive with the local taxis, but later I can see why. However, there is a Local car Matatu service that cost around 300 shillings per person, that takes around forty minutes, the driver seams to know everyone and stops for on route chat with tje locals. The drive is ruff road not tarmac, but givem wjere tje hotel is, is understandable. The owner is very happy to get one of those drivers to meet you at a location in the town, ie outside Family Bank. Once you eventually get to tje hotel your see its all worth the trip. How they managed to buid this hotel up in the middle of knowwhere beggars believe. The weather is different there and can rain alot, but the sun soon pops out randomly here and there, and can rain without warning, it gets hot as well. The staff at the hotel were fantastic, and tea and coffee was awaiting our arrival along with a cosy wooden lit fireplace along.with our dinner when we wanted it. We arrived late and it was dark. We were led to our rooms and asked for an extra duvet as it was a little chilly being so high up. The room was adequate with a electric shower and comfortable bed. The morning was raining very hard. But cleared up to reveal a stunning view from our balcony . I just could not stop looking at it. the tea farmers were busy collecteing the leaves. Breakfast was anything that we required from omelette/ sausage /toast to fresh fruit. There were plenty of local tours available at a very reasonable price. Our tour guide come security guard was only too eager to take us anywhere we wanted to go. From fly fishing trout on the local river, to the famous Abadare Forrest. Or a local tea plantation tour, even if we wanted to visit the famous tree tops.
