The manager, Saman, was probably the best hotel manager I met in a long time. He went above and beyond to try and help: a real professional, and the best of Sri Lanka when it comes to hospitality. Suraj, the cook, also made good food and gave great portions, so I was satisfied.

We started the day with a delicious English breakfast at the hotel, enjoying tasty slices of tropical fruits, fresh watermelon juice, and a warm waffle topped with vanilla ice cream. Mr. Chamidu, the manager, showed us around the property. He did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable under difficult conditions, being stranded due to the Middle East crisis. We were given a beautiful room at no extra cost. We were very well cared for. The lady owner runs a fabulous craft workshop to offer young women from the village, livelihood opportunities.

100meter pool, limits the number of turns you have to do when doing laps!!! Room was a great size, plenty of seating space plus oversized bathroom. Spa treatments were excellent, food was devine.
