Absolutely amazing place to stay the villas are so nice and the grounds are so beautiful. Staff are so friendly and accommodating and speak really good English, we wanted to speak an additional night which they helped us with. Breakfast is good with cereal in room and toast jam and fruit in common area. And the drip coffee wow the smell and taste is soooo good I brought some extra to bring home. You get free kayak and bikes to go on which is a must just to explore the area. Love it here. I took mostly videos of the villa so cannot show.

I stayed here twice, once before getting ferry to Koh Toa and then when I came back. The whole place is beautiful, it's a fabulous design and the place feels like home. The owners wife/husband who run the place could not be anymore gracious and welcoming. Very helpful in everything you need. I actually said to him do you ever day no, his reply, always yes. Great location for getting ferry to the islands.

Have stayed here many times and receptionist is always very helpful to us. We have a great room for a great price. Exceptional value for money. Usually stay overnight breaking up a long road trip going north and south of Thailand. Would always recommend it to friends and family. Also decent food at the in-house restaurant and good price.

Great place to stay if you’ve been to or heading to Koh Tao, close to the ferry terminal in Chumphon and the hotel provides shuttle. Beach next to the resort was so massive and quiet it was so stunning! Tents are fun to stay in, bathroom is just behind the tent so at night you have to leave the tent. Great value for money! Pool is massive. We had dinner in the resort too which was great. AC in tent very powerful.

Lovely little resort in the middle of nowhere. Really nice pool and you can get dinner there for very cheap. They also offer a free taxi the next day to the ferry port.

Real luxury glamping. Also the owner has a beach bar/restaurant 5 minutes away at the beach and when it started pouring, the owner offered to drive us back the road to the hotel for no cost, which was really nice! Transfer to the pier was also included at no extra cost, which was a plus!

Originality. The tents were comfortable, luxury inside. The lady on the reception was very pleasant with a very good english. The big bonus was that they do not use any singleuse plastic. There was a container with drinking water available for free with real glasses and mugs. You can make a coffee and tea for free.

Beautiful resort, we only stayed 1 night as e used it before getting the boost to Koh Tao but we would happily have stayed a few more nights. 100m from the beautiful palm tree lined beach. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner in their restaurant but there are a few other places locally including the beach bar and restaurant. Tented accommidation was very comfortable with us own private bathroom and air conditioning. They also give free shuttle service to the pier to get the boat.

Great location and price. Beautiful spot to get away from the city and relax. Chumphon is often overlooked by travelers but it’s a great town and the resort is a perfect spot to enjoy it from.

We weren’t sure what to expect when staying in a tent, but it Moonshine Resort is really nice! We had our own private bathroom behind the tent, which was big and super clean. The AC worked well, and the staff was very helpful. They coordinated a shuttle for us with the Lomprayah ferry company since we were going to Koh Tao the next day. They also offered free breakfast early enough so we could eat before the 7am ferry. And the pool is quite nice.

Imagine a place at the end of a day of driving that is very quiet. Remember G.P.S. showed you a special secret place off the highway to rest for the night? This is that place. nestled among trees and flowers, this resort will be fondly remembered. Luck. Yes, luck is a lady. She will make you feel at home. She is the manager. You and your car will be safely sleep the night, until coffee or tea wakes in the morning. You will have many wonderful memories!
