We were upgraded to a premium room which had a terrific view of the beach & ocean and a large balcony with lounge chairs. Our room was spacious with a comfortable large bed. The bathroom was a good size with 2 sinks. There were plenty of towels, both for the bath and the beach. We also greatly enjoyed the swimming pool. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The co-owner and manager kindly assisted us with booking a snorkel trip.

It was a home away from home, filled with impeccable hospitality, thoughtful touches(surprised me with the best cake on my birthday), and unforgettable moments. If you're seeking a slice of paradise with a side of genuine human connection, look no further. Sylvia, Aga, Fau, Fridah, Felix and Denge made me feel truly welcomed and cared for.Also... if you're looking for some pampering, do not miss the massage and body scrub...it was the most blissfully indulgent hour of my entire trip!

It is in front of the beach ⛱️ 😎lot of sunbeds ,shadows, and trees, very clean. Good for rest. The food was very good. all employees were willing to help with any problem or question. Great place to stay.

What an amazing time! Beautiful, clean, and peaceful in a location removed from the more tourist heavy areas of the island. Kasia and the staff were so lovely and were able to help arrange activities and day trips. Already dreaming of returning one day!

ALL staff are absolutely delightful. Everyone made us truly welcome. Our room was spacious and clean. The Village and Reef Walk with James was really interesting and so worthwhile. The bar staff and chefs at the Beach Bar were great fun and the waitress and waiters in the restaurant were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble, for anyone. The location was perfect, quiet and relaxing. A few local restaurants around the beach, we tried as many as possible, some in the village itself. Try them, Google maps will give locations, they may look quiet but every one we tried, the people were super friendly and interested in where you come from etc, food takes a little while, but everything is cooked to order. There are a few beach boys about but they are generally friendly.

I have visited Zanzibar before and stayed at a few hotels (large and small) and this is by far my favorite hotel, my kids and I did not want to leave. It was a hidden gem! The staff were very friendly, the owners were always available and very sweet and kind, the food was the best in Zanzibar. It’s a very quiet and lovely getaway. The beach felt like a private beach away from the overbearing Masai and tourists. The hotel was very cozy, authentic and unique. The rooms were spacious, the balcony was stunning and watching the sunrise every day was beautiful, AC was working perfectly, rooms was always clean and they clean twice a day. If you want to relax.. this is the place to stay! The owners and staff quickly became our family. Thank you for the most beautiful stay, we will be back again!
