The breakfast included daily was TOP NOTCH! The attention to detail in the common areas as well as in our room were so appreciated - from the books, little reading nooks, teas and coffee daily and multiple seated areas, to the convenient s’mores and game night displays, to ear plugs and makeup wipes included in your normal toiletry inclusions, to an umbrella in the room closet, everything was so well-thought of, it felt like a home away from home. The place has been restored beautifully with updated amenities and decor! The bed was SO COMFORTABLE! What a special, special vacay we had:)

The staff and fellow guests were all so friendly and welcoming. The owner Glenn invited me to join him and others for the Valentine’s Day dinner. My room was quiet and comfortable. The grounds are nice and I hope to return in warmer weather to make use of the pool. Conveniently located on a quiet street with easy walking distance to the stores on Main St. It was a short ride to Armstrong State Park and the majestic redwoods.

A wonderful place to stay in the redwoods. Clean, accommodating and peaceful.

Really an exceptionally well-furnished place. Lots of rooms, each with their own personality--the upstairs is especially light and airy. A sauna, river access, games, everything you could need.
