Resorts in Cái Bè

Very “niche-type” of resort, not catering to mass traveler looking for holiday in the sun. The Mekong Delta offers fabulous experiences, including boat trips, kayaking, hiking, etc, but all of that is for a special type of sophisticated traveler.

Nam Giang is very hospitable and shows you around the Mekong Delta with his truck (biking is just too hot in April). He organized activities for the two days I was there and it was always an adventure (in a good way!) to see what he had planned. Really loved the local touch! Accommodation was good. Bed and shower were comfy enough.

I was accompanied by Host Ju, she was very helpful. Unfortunately I was the only person at the place. But don't get discouraged to book it, Ju and other stuff will do all the best to make you feel relaxed. The swimming pool was great and as a bonus they have an outside gym. Food at the place was great, right portions. Also it may look it is far way, but honestly you can rent bike and go to Coco house(restaurant on the other side) and than go to local zoo and Finnish trip in Pagoda and come back. I u wanna go to Vinh Long I would advice you to tike motorbike, which you can rent at hostel. Ju was also organizing for me how to get to place and from it, just contact her she will organize local taxi for you. Btw. Surrounded art is amazing. Painting and sculptures, bridges, really cool! The property setting is exquisite. Beautiful flowering paper trees and flowering plants do the front of the house. Room was comfy albeit some challenges with the plumbing and shower water never got hot.
