The location was excellent, within minutes of the main shopping streets of the Medina. My room (Verde) had a window and balcony that overlooked the ocean in the distance, allowing plenty of natural light into the room. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom well equipped and uniquely designed. Breakfast was great. The staff served all guests a full breakfast of Moroccan breads and pastries, accompaniments, fresh orange juice, yoghurt, omelette and mint tea (or coffee etc), on the third floor overlooking the ocean. The highlight however were the staff. Exceptional from start to finish and went above and beyond to explain the Medina, recommend restaurants and shops, helped carry bags up and down the stairs and were so accommodating no matter what. I would wholeheartedly recommend booking here.

Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Riad Chama exceeded all our expectations. The location is ideal, just a few minutes from Bab Marrakech and the Medina, yet very calm and relaxing. The riad is beautifully designed, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the bedding is excellent, and every detail is carefully curated. The rooftop terrace is a highlight, breakfast there is simply amazing, fresh and delicious, with a beautiful view. What truly makes this place outstanding is the service. Salim and his team are incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive. The service is flawless, communication is easy, and everything is perfectly organized (arrival, porter, transfers, etc.). From the moment we arrived, everything was taken care of, they arranged a porter to carry our luggage from the nearest parking at Bab Marrakech, which made the arrival very smooth and stress-free. We felt at home from the very first moment. This is without hesitation one of the best places to stay in Essaouira. Highly recommended, we will definitely return.

Riad Babette is located within the walls of the old city of Essaouira. The owner and his family have beautifully decorated the riad with tasteful touches and beautiful photography throughout. Even though we arrived late in the evening, the owner was willing to prepare a delicious dinner for us. We were warmly welcomed. Our room was beautiful and well appointed. The air conditioning was welcome as it was a bit humid. Wifi worked well in all spaces. Breakfast was delicious. The owner, Mohammed, was very attentive and catered to our every need. For example, we were interested in purchasing some of the traditional inlaid wood trays that Essaouira is famous for. He took us to a shop with pieces of very high quality where we were able to purchase exactly what we wanted in a low pressure environment.

This was by far the best place we have stayed at during our trip to Morocco. The place is absolutely stunning, the room super big and comfortable, the staff very friendly. The owners were also there each day which made it really nice and personal and they went out of their way to help us - from making arrangements for our small baby to actually coming down to help us when we had car trouble in the middle of nowhere! We will for sure come back ❤️

Very nice Riad, new and very clean. Location is perfect on a quiet street near the main attractions. Would recommend the high floors since in the first floor it’s a bit humid. Breakfast is quite big and healthy. It could be more a al caffe though, sometimes it was a bit too much food. In general, I would go back. Definitely recommend!!
